29 Arts in Progress: what do users think?

J Dono: I called before coming and they were pleasant and helpful, at my arrival they gave some information about the exhibition. The guy that attended me was kind and invite me to come back when another exhibition will start.

Giacomo Conti: Good evening, unfortunately today the visit to the gallery was not possible. The website gave you open 11-19, like the time on the door, but the gallery was closed. Any telephone attempt is also useless. Too bad, I would certainly have liked the exhibition and catalogue. Please pay more attention, greetings Giacomo (from FI).

Giovanni Amendola: Beautiful gallery and collection of photographs, extraordinary unique pieces by Gian Paolo Barbieri!

Piera (Pierbrus): Interesting exhibition space. The Blooming Japan exhibition is not to be missed. Beautiful poetic photos.

Nino Greco: One of the best galleries in the Milan area, certainly a reference point in the sector!

Carlos Gago Rodríguez: Very welcoming and professional staff. Interesting space and exhibition on Testino interesting for large-format works.

Fabrizio Capsoni: Recent gallery but with an extra gear: personally I put it in first place among the temples of photographic art in Milan.

Fondazione Luciana Matalon: what do users think?

Alina Ilie: Great photography exhibition. Love the fact that it has english and italian explanation...

der 2114: Reminds me of raf simons, loved the art, great atmosphere, friendly staff

Dreamer: Very good exhibition! Strongly recommend it to be a main stop for anyone who visits the city

valentina venturini: Top

Simone Paleari: Beautiful Humanity exhibition, very well presented photos, right lighting. To be seen!!!

Niccolo': Very nice foundation, I have been twice to see the "wildlife photographer of the year" exhibition and both experiences have been positive. The selection of photos is varied and well narrated, I recommend participating in the special days they organize with photography experts and often with the photographers themselves who have awarded the competition.

Mauro Sordello: A nice place for art exhibitions. Not huge, rather small and intimate, it offers six beautiful spaces for exhibitions, in my case, photographic.

Giuliano Calamita: Beautiful exhibition space I was able to admire the Wildlife Photographer exhibition.

Museum of Contemporary Photography: what do users think?

Uwe Duerr: A small museum in the North of Milan. Over 2 floors you can see shows of contemporary photography. Entrance was free.

Carlos F Ramírez M. (Cafera): Amazing museum and library, excellent staff and easy to get there via metro+tram

Alberto Rigamonti: ToP

Edoardo Emilio Bianchi: Saturday 12-11-2022 Admission is always free, at the entrance books produced/made by MUFOCO and books on photography can also be purchased. Illustrative leaflets of the works on display are available on the entrance desk. The toilet is to the left of the ticket office. In the entrance corridor, a slideshow shows photographs, I think part of the archive. Going up the staircase leads to the 2 rooms with photographic exhibitions. It would be desirable for the photographic archive to be made at least partially available digitally. To improve and enlarge the exhibition spaces. And information, didactics, as well as videos on photography, authors and critics, the archive, handouts of activities, etc. ----- Few years ago ------- Definitely worth a visit by those who are passionate about photography. There are well-known Italian authors such as Basilico, Ghirri, Jodice, Olivo Barbieri and others and some foreigners. Admission is free, only regret that the photos on display are quite few. I hope that the exhibition space will grow. Villa Ghirlanda, now undergoing restoration, also has a truly beautiful park.

Play 23: The only museum dedicated to photography in all of Italy! What can I say, luckily at least he exists!

Matteo M: Excellent museum, "the war is over, the Republic is born" Milan 1945-1946 photos by Federico Patellani are the 🔝

Antonio Panni: beautiful photographic exhibition with the possibility of buying in the works many art galleries that launch new and old photographers who are artists you do not know where to look how to spend the day it takes at least three hours to see everything truly spectacular and also a very good investment. I go there every year. It always remains a different surprise.I think it is the most important photography exhibition in Europe or in any case one of the most important not to be missed.

Gallerie d’Italia: what do users think?

Sarah Norris: Nice art gallery in the centre of Milan, lovely staff. In my opinion, it’s not as impressive as the Gallerie d’Italia in Naples, but still worth a visit, I’d say. It is not as overcrowded as some of the other galleries in Milan either. I think it could do with some more signs as I ended up seeing the second part before I saw the first, as evidently I didn’t know which way to go (and I noticed that other visitors did the same too).

Alexandra “Ale” Paredes: Beautiful museum! Lots of busts and status. Personally I loved the room with the modern art. The museum was not too crowded.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More

Angela Taylor: This gallery is beautiful and has so many pieces of art to see. The staff are also very kind and helpful.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More

Ieva Sliziute: The whole building and rooms with permanent collections were absolutely stunning! I wish the navigation and exit situation would have been planned a bit better, as I seemed to keep walking in circles and coming back to the same rooms twice before continuing to other rooms.

Cloudia Chen: The art pieces are wonderful here. I am glad I came visit. It would have been perfect if the exit is designed on a different location so that the visitors wouldn’t have to go back the same route where they entered, for the size of the musuem I would consider that if I work for them;)

anna bacchi andreoli: An old stately bank turned into a museum There is also a small restaurant and a.coffee.bar. staff is more than helpful and it is always a pleasant experience. I have never been disppointed by their exhibitions.

George Karystianis: Finally a place in Italy that is not swarmed with mindless tourists. The background classical music only enhances the experience of being g able to observe a sculpture or a painting. What I really like was the variety of exhibitions and the old school classically posh feeling that it bore. Staff were very polite and the any attending tourist noobs actually interested in art and opening discussing the pieces. Yes, it is not instagrammy, Thank God for that!

Fabrizio De Tomasi: Interesting and beautiful gallery in the city centre

ESH Gallery: what do users think?

Griselda Adánez: Very interesting small gallery in one of the most lively areas of Milan. I visited the exhibition "Japanorama" which showcasts prints of modern rock stars in a Japanese style. The staff were friendly and prepared, they explained me all about the exhibition. I would highly recommend paying a visit to one of the very curated and appealing exhibitions that take place throughout the year.

Ronit Konorty Levy: Was closed when we got there although it published that it is open - call before going

Roberto Bordogna: A small apparently creative art dealer

Andrea Belisario: Stunning contemporary art gallery in the lively Tortona district. It features oriental artists, mainly from Japan.

Giovanni Gobbi: Delightful gallery that exhibits contemporary Japanese art and that has a very original exhibition in progress that incorporates the ukyo-e in a rock key.

Giacomo Loulai: Art gallery with cozy atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable host. Finally a note of color in the midst of many increasingly gray galleries

Cristina Cirillo: Very interesting gallery, always with nice original exhibits

Karen Cohen: Magical place. I have seen some very inspiring works. Riccardo Sodano very good and available to welcome every question and request. Go, well worth it, time well invested

y. f.: I have been to several Esh Gallery events. Always interested, very appealing artists and the owner is very professional and helpful.

Studio Exhibit Milano: what do users think?

Stefano Spelta: Impeccable, modular location suitable for both events and photo shoots. Impeccable cleanliness, exemplary customer care. The photographic equipment is of a high quality level. The courtesy and professionalism of the property helped us a lot. Absolutely recommended for photo shoots, castings and events.

silvana ceruti: I took advantage of this beautiful space for a presentation of my collection of skating and competition dresses. The perfect location, extremely modular for every need. The two floors allow you to manage the purely commercial event, from the happening. The manageress made everything easy, but extremely professional. The location, despite being very central, remains a small oasis away from the chaos. I will also use the space for the next shooting, as it has a perfect situation in terms of photographic material!

Micol Imineo: The space lends itself a lot for adaptability, for the product launch that I organized for one of my clients I was also able to improvise a series of photographic shots managing to obtain two results in a single location. Evening managed very well, impeccable space and very professional staff. Multifunctional space: it has a room with a projector, it is equipped with a kitchen and there is the possibility of using an external courtyard I highly recommend it

alberto fontanini: It is a well structured space, which can be used for various types of events. Both the ground floor and the -1 can be exploited by adapting them to different needs.

Romina Pierdomenico: I made two photo shoots two weeks ago, in addition to the welcome and the wonderful atmosphere of the studio, we had a great time shooting with my photographer given the spaces. We will definitely be back soon

Bianca Ottaviani: Large well-kept studio with all the necessary equipment! Advise

Galleria Raffaella Cortese: what do users think?

Laurel Hauge: Interesting, challenging, and experimental exhibitions from both longtime established and younger artists working across all mediums. The gallery’s three exhibition locations, all on the same street, give the opportunity for exhibiting artists to handle each space differently or for separate simultaneous shows.

Művészet Barátai Nkft. A Kortárs: Great gallery!

Ali arbab: 👍👍👍

Eugenio Giliberti: Convenient because close to the train station. Small, no lift, clean. The young Chinese women at the reception are friendly.

Mario Francesco Rovida: International art gallery declined mainly for women. Great interest and preparation for contemporary art. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A visit highly recommended!

Davide Tatti: The proposals are aimed at collecting, but with a policy that always tends to include the choices in the artistic and cultural debate of the highest level.

Domenico Olivero: A beautiful gallery structured on three locations in the same street, always high quality proposals, excellent set-ups and very courteous staff.

andrea m.: It offers interesting exhibitions, obviously oriented for a future purchase, I would like a possible greater opening also to the citizens of the area and a little more visibility an interesting gallery

Francesca Lina Pincella: Beautiful place, competent and highly trained staff. Exhibitions of the highest quality

Building Gallery: what do users think?

Alessandra Montalbetti: A very interesting review dedicated to the sense of the sacred in contemporary art. Very famous names such as Gino De Dominicis, Alighiero & Boetti and many others.

CLAUDIO GRILLENZONI: Beautiful. Numinous exhibition in a beautiful building with renovated rooms. Interesting. ....and works not easy to decipher .....b

Emiliana Monteiro: I was passing by, I thought it was curious, I went in and loved it. I like to walk around the city discovering things

Stefano Giovanni Gallazzi: Beautiful and interesting contemporary art exhibition

Domenico Olivero: Three exhibition floors for important art projects, visited these days for the beautiful exhibition on V. Agnetti, a very courteous staff, excellent selection of works.

Maurizio Mazzucchelli: On the Wall, exhibition curated by Demetrio Paparoni with works by Paola Angelini, Rafael Megall, Justin Mortimer, Nicola Samorì, Vibeke Slyngstad and Ruprecht von Kaufmann. The exhibition project, which includes more than forty works by contemporary artists who use figurative painting in a profoundly different way, has been specially designed for the four floors of BUILDING. The paintings, made for this exhibition or never exhibited before in Italy, are largely large in size. The title of the exhibition opens up to different meanings. If on the one hand it suggests that it is a painting exhibition, on the other it recalls the concept of the wall as a dividing element between two adjacent spaces or as a limit to be overcome by referring to the Renaissance concept that sees in the painting a window open to the outside world .

Sauro Sassi: Great contemporary art exhibits and a very nice venue

Davide Tatti: The staging of the exhibitions is always very accurate, enhances the works and takes advantage of the size of the premises very well.

Antonio Addamiano: Beautiful modern and contemporary art gallery in the center of Milan on several levels. Great Jan Fabre +++ exhibition to see

Lu Pe: Hello everyone, unfortunately I cannot say much about the place as I have only been there twice, all and two times in the same room and both times for reasons of affection: the first to see my brother Filippo Pellegrini who represented "Twentieth century-the legend of the pianist on the ocean" and the second to attend the stories of the experiences of my favorite photographers at the "Olympics of courage". I can only say that crossing those corridors I breathed the Beauty: Thank you, Lucia

Enrico Coco: Unique place of its kind in Europe, cared for and managed with passion and professionalism. This visit is highly recommended for both exhibitions and numerous events for anyone who loves photography and sport, or even just one of the two. Well done!

Fondazione Sozzani: what do users think?

Renee Antoine: Super cool - almost hidden gallery in Milan. The area is full of designer stores and very close to popular Eatly restaurant/ grocery. The Galleria offered a smaller size exhibit however the real treat is the top floor patio. The gift shop was very interesting and had some beautiful pieces to buy. It’s a bit pricey but worth a look.

肥胖仙女: The exhibition is free, and the bookstore which in front of the exhibition is mostly about fashion

J DeA: Meeting point for fashion victims who love prices outside of any logic and being controlled by the staff. After the experience, but never again, a slap to the weaker bands. To be ashamed!

Oliver Schrott: Great hidden gem in a trendy area, with cosy court restaurant, with free entrance to upper art levels and a great roof terrace to chill out. Though don’t expect too much from the art in the gallery. But definitely recommendable to go!

Short Spin: If you are in to art, photography and fashion - that’s your hidden gem of Milan. Often they would have expo free of charge, you will find incredible amount of books of art, fashion, photography to buy. It’s amazing place for inspiration. Down the gallery there is a lovely cafe, very cheek, a bit pricy, but very relaxing with nice kitchen, perfect to sit, relax and have a chit chat with companion after expo in the gallery.

zee: I was there for Renhang’s solo show. It’s right above the infamous 10 Corso Como, a hidden gem in the shopping district.

Giorgio Patelli: Based on my experience, interesting for a quick cultural moment in your daytime. The situation is nice with a fancy cafe just downstairs in a little internal square under a pergola ceiling.

Maite Martínez: Great gallery,Two spaces small but perfect.

Giulia Hartz: What can I say about this lovely place? The exhibitions are always interesting and surprising and the rooftop is definitely my favorite spot in Milan!

Fabio Tacca: Mostra Alex Prager, "silver lake driver"

Claudia Corvi: An exhibition of great impact in a house from the early twentieth century. There are no furnishings but the spaces and decorative elements (doors, fireplaces, etc.) are really very beautiful almost exciting and the modern and above all contemporary works find a perfect accommodation

M S: Beautiful gallery located in a building designed by Portaluppi in the early 1900s. Quality exhibitions with noteworthy works by Wildt, Melotti, Ontani and many others. Beautiful marble floors and fireplaces with brass finishes. Gentle and very knowledgeable staff. Free entrance, metro stop Piola.
