Camila Laurens
Camila Laurens: Place was very cozy, staff more than nice and the food was great. We had rustico and pizza for starters and for the main course we chose lasagne (my favourite), tofu, seitan, polenta, croquettes (my friend’s favourite) and veggies. We also tried tiramisu (it was delicious) and chocolate cake for dessert. We highly recommend this place. Thank you!
Response: Was a pleasure, thanks to you!
מיכאל מארי
מיכאל מארי: Was out for breakfast, great tiramisu & Best croissant I’ve ever eaten in my life. Came out hot and very chocolaty - Highly recommended!!The environment in the place is very welcoming and staff is soo nice.An amazing experience and a great way to open your day.
Response: Thank's mate! :)
Daniel Gawalewicz
Daniel Gawalewicz: Amazing vegan tiramisu!! The food was tasty too, you get to pick three items off the menu. Also got the hazelnut cream croissant which was delicious and the filling tasted exactly like Nutella. The chickpea omelette option was very dry though, I recommend trying one of the other options in that menu section. Dietary restrictions: Vegan
Victoria Johnson
Victoria Johnson: Loved the food! Wish I could eat more! Great service, very patient with me as they do not have an English menu so explained everything. All vegan and very delicious! I loved it all, will have to return to try the others!
TJ Jackson
TJ Jackson: Went here for lunch and the food was amazing! There are two friends who operate this cute little restaurant with one taking orders and the other preparing the food. Considering I was American, they recommended food that’s native to Italy, which was delicious. This place also comes with free WiFi, indoor/outdoor seating, and amazing vegan tiramisu - all at an affordable price!
Response: Thank's! :)
Anusha
Anusha: The lunch was nice. I could choose 3 items from the available selections. There were some authentic dishes as well. The ambience and service was nice too. The staff spoke English. Recommended to all vegans visiting Milan. Also, there is a washroom if needed.
JUDr. Zlata Albijani Ph.D
JUDr. Zlata Albijani Ph.D: Absolutely delicious vegan food we found on our way through Milan! The owners are the sweetest people, they served us before the opening times and gave us some lovely treats for our baby! Highly recommended vegan bistro with food cooked with love and passion

So Natural: what do users think?
Elif Rüveyha Özmen
Elif Rüveyha Özmen: There are vegan and gluten-free choices. I tasted brioche with pistachio. The cream was too sweet and didn’t taste like pistachio but i tasted a vegan tart with chocolate and pistachio it was truly amazing. I would recommend for having a nice time with coffee even though the desserts are too sweet
Alessa Fisher
Alessa Fisher: Amazing food! Super fresh, handmade, and tasty sweets. I always get the piadina and I could live on them forever.
Spencer Parks
Spencer Parks: They have great fruit smoothie drinks, dairy-free milk, and at least a few vegan pastries every day. The vegan croissants (whole wheat) may be sold out if you don’t arrive early enough. The other pastries were spectacular! Probably the best fancy pastries I’ve ever had.
Ingrid .V
Ingrid .V: So I went there for lunch as a vegan because there was so many good reviews. They have a few vegan sweets but I was looking for something savory. That was very limited : a bowl or a burger. The burger was sold out ( it was 1 pm on sat) so I got the bowl… plain white rice, plain tomatoes plain corn, peas and baked zucchini’s…. No sauce ( olive oil and salt was given) erf… that was disappointing
Response: Good morning Ingrid, we are sorry that it has not been well with us. Unfortunately, during the busiest times it may happen that the vegan proposals run out faster, we are sorry about what happened and we welcome your feedback to improve us. We hope that he will come back to visit us to try our veg specialties. With regard,
VITTORIA LEGRENZI
VITTORIA LEGRENZI: A friend and I ordered coffee in the morning and sat at a table to study (as we saw multiple other clients doing the same). Literally *while* I was sipping on my coffee, not one, but two waiters consecutively came to ask us to LEAVE because they needed the table for other costumers who were ordering breakfast. Ignoring the fact that we weren’t the only ones studying/working but others were somehow allowed to do so; since when do you *gesture* and then patronizingly ask two costumers to leave mere minutes after they ordered/bought something? Couldn’t we have put our laptops away and continued having breakfast? … If studying/working isn’t allowed for whatever reason, costumers should be told BEFORE they spend their money on food/beverages, and the rule should apply to everyone. Cherry on top, they sat a random person at our same table *without* even asking if it was okay with us (just for the sake of politeness/common decency). Honestly the lack of respect for the client left me and my friend speechless. NEVER AGAIN.
Response: Good morning, we are sorry that you have not found yourself well with us. Unfortunately we are not a study room or a library, but a bistro. When possible we are happy to be able to host you also to study or work, but when there are customers waiting we must be able to allow everyone to consume, as you have been allowed. For the same reason we also accommodate different people at our tables, we want to offer a table and the best service to everyone. We are pretty sure that more than a few minutes have passed from the purchase to when we asked you to clear the table, it is not our habit to send the customer away as soon as he has paid. with regard
Alana B
Alana B: Wowwowowowow the vegan pistachio cake will forever have a special place in my heart 😭💓 The staff were very friendly and I love their little hats. Highly recommend!
lauranne decocq
lauranne decocq: Food is ok but the service is really not good. I went there on a not particularly busy Sunday for lunch and the 4 waiters seems busy to do anything but serving customers. Too bad …
Response: Hi Lauranne, we are sorry for what happened, we thank you for the feedback and we will take it into account to improve ourselves and increase the quality of our service. With regard,
Emelia Hardardottir
Emelia Hardardottir: Staff is always rude a friend and I have been asked to leave twice after sitting down to study(two different situations), while around us there were other people studying and had not ordered or anything to consume, can’t recommend this less
Response: Good morning Emilia, I'm sorry if we haven't given you as much space/time for your study, so I would like to inform you that you can study with us but a minimum consumption is required. I hope to see you again to study and taste our handcrafted products! See you soon 😊
Sven Siepermann
Sven Siepermann: The best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had.

Zoe Barr
Zoe Barr: An entirely gluten free bakery! We came here for croissants & coffee - whilst not exactly the same as a regular croissant, there was still a few layers in there which I’ve never come across before in gluten free pastry. Plenty of filling as well. Coffee was excellent, staff were friendly, there was indoor & outdoor seating, and the general atmosphere was very relaxed. Will certainly be back next time we’re in Milan.
Ayana Douglas
Ayana Douglas: I had the BEST chocolate chip muffin of my ENTIRE LIFE here!!! It was still warm, and the chocolate was melty inside, it was light and airy but the right amount of dense as well. It was the perfect amount of sweet. It was decadent but not the point where it was too much. Incredible. And so affordable too!! I also had a mini pizza which was delicious as well!
Emilia Voicu
Emilia Voicu: It s a must. Best gluten free products i ve ever eaten.
Michele Cassano
Michele Cassano: Are you kidding? Is this really all gluten free? It is my friends! We have tried many many gluten free places around the world, but this bakery is just another category, out of this world! Definitely recommend it if you want to be in heaven on earth :)

D monkey
D monkey: Good experience, Affordable price, friendly service.Food is good not a 5star but is not the place for that, it’s simple, you can choose over the display, the price goes in weights good quality for the price range. Thanks 😊
Andrew Chalmers
Andrew Chalmers: Good. I had quinoa with smoked tofu and veg, some sort of greens, chickpea fritatta and polpette (vegan "meatballs"). This is all on the one plate, so it made for a generous lunch and it was tasty. Had a bottle of fancy beer. Just shy of 18 euros, all in.
Ana Henriques
Ana Henriques: The food is very good, the staff really friendly and the price is fair. The only thing that the food was not hot enough, but I enjoyed it very much! I need to say that I was chocked with the dessert, OMG! What a tasty cake I had! It is a really great place for vegans!
Shai Pearlman
Shai Pearlman: The food was good, the coffee was also okay, I liked the aesthetics of the place. Unfortunately, the price was too high considering the type of food and the amount of it.

Annabella P.
Annabella P.: Cheerful and very kind welcome, nice place with space outside, tasty and varied dishes, from first courses to preparations with seitan and tofu, to side dishes. The pistachio ice cream, of their production, really excellent for taste and texture. Appropriate price: a tray of delicacies, 1 scoop of ice cream and 1 coffee, 16 EUR. Highly recommended
Elle Bi
Elle Bi: Review based on a Too Good to go Mystery Box purchase This app is a 😋 ... today I opted for a light and organic lunch! All very delicious and also proportionate to eat it for two! Julia Bozo
Julia Bozo: Mediocre food, the bread wasn’t fresh and the avocado was basically guacamole and then more avocado on top. The poached eggs tasted of vinegar (it’s to stabilise the egg I know but it was very sharp) where left with strings of egg whites hanging out of the egg and were full of water on the inside. There was water on the plate as well. The plate itself was broken on the edges. Total disappointment.
Eduardo Avallone de Souza (byAvallone)
Eduardo Avallone de Souza (byAvallone): Go for the brunch on the weekend, is super good!
Response: Thanks a lot Eduardo!
Didier Horstman
Didier Horstman: This is a gem to have breakfasts or lunch and possibly diner. We were there for late breakfast and had some great food with very nice and fast service. The guys running the floor where all there and super friendly and efficient. Can highly recommend if your looking for a place to eat.
Response: Thanks a lot Didier! A presto!
Jay -
Jay -: Tried to go twice on a weekend, every time they didn’t let us seat for a coffee (at 3 PM!) because it was brunch time until 4 PM. I’ll get my coffees somewhere else. (Update: by the answer you can see that they didn’t even get the problem…)
Response: Hi Jay! You can discover our brunch proposal on our website or on our social profiles! Soon!
Naz Gol
Naz Gol: Used to be my favourite place, now is not what it was before but still a nice place to have a coffee and a slice of cake. (During the weekend is crowded though)☕️🍰
Janina
Janina: Super nice brunch they offer on Sundays, with a wide variety of options from sweet to salty. Even though juice, water and a coffee/tea is complementary and a bread basket, it is still a little bit on the pricey side for the brunch. Overall nice experience though! Super friendly staff as well!
Naomi Wei
Naomi Wei: Home made with love , this course is great, and it always sold out before lunch. Very healthy and friendly stuff. Just located at city life Tre torri metro station.
Anastasya Anastasya
Anastasya Anastasya: At 15:21 the place was empty at 80%! Lady at the entrance said there is a waiting list of few people. Empty restaurant and a waiting list of customers who are waiting for her call ? What’s the problem ? Not efficient at all.
Response: Hi Anastasya, sorry for the inconvenience. We are sure that next time everything will be fine. Soon!

Elizabeth Parodi
Elizabeth Parodi: This is BY FAR, the coziest brunch place in Milano. If you follow me, you know that every Sunday I try out a new brunch place with the family, and this is the second Sunday in a row we come here to Mugs & Co, thanks to the wonderful owners and the amazing quality of the food. 10/10 for food, location and service, would so recommend this to anyone☕️❤️ will be back again. We came here with a big group of friends and everyone loved it! Oltre che il menù brunch hanno anche portate singole qualora qualcuno preferisse altro, e anche tante veggie options as well as dairy free!! I strooongly recommend The salmon pancake menù, or the single plate ‘Cheeseburger with potatoes’✨

California Bakery: what do users think?
Marina Shinkorenko
Marina Shinkorenko: I didn’t expect much from this place when Google suggested it as a breakfast option but it’s really great! A huge range of options available: salads, bowls, toasts, burgers, cakes, bagels, fresh juice, smoothies, wine, beer ❤️ The music 🎶 playing here is from 00-10’s which brings extra atmosphere to this place. ‍♀️The staff is welcoming and works quickly. 🏠They have two stores but the second one didn’t work. ➖The only disadvantage was the heat lamps above our heads in the room that made it too hot The photos and reviews are not very explicit so I took the photos of the menu.
Response: Hi Marina! We love it! Thanks a lot! hope to see you soon in California Bakery!
T M
T M: Unfortunately very poor quality of food. 34,60€ for breakfast for 2 with a cheap poor quality. Guacamole was not fresh, bacon tasted like cheapest quality of meat. Egg was definitely not organic. Croissant tasted likeFrom the day before. Can’t recommend this place at all. 1/5
Angharad Tre
Angharad Tre: It was very busy when I arrived which just shows how popular it is. The portions are massive. You get an almost starter with your avocado toast and it comes with a side (hash browns, avocado, eggs) and orange juice. So really good portions of food. Really nice friendly atmosphere. Loads of options, definitely recommend a visit! My only criticism is that the bread was a little stale.
Response: Thanks Angharad! We are happy you enjoyed our proposal! Soon!
Gebriel
Gebriel: Super friendly staff! Got piece of cake to go, was a bit dry - I’d rather you go to a local Milanese bakery or pastry shop (but obviously if push comes to shove - would eat here)
Response: Thanks Gabriel! hope to see you soon in California Bakery!
Yurdagül Gizem Eken
Yurdagül Gizem Eken: It is around 20 minutes away from Duomo. Especially desserts are really delicious and fresh. Cheesecakes are little bit different classic American cheesecake, similar with San Sebastián cheesecake. Besides, pancakes are really delicious even if salty one. I give 4 points because of location and view. There is a construction site in front of cafe and it makes noise pollution. that’s why, you don’t want to stay more. :( it is really preferrable for take away until construction is finalized.
Zahra Alimohammadzadeh
Zahra Alimohammadzadeh: I usually come to California Bakery but I have to say that this time they surprised me! They upgraded and changed the menu. The service was great and the brunch was amazing and big enough.
Gabriel
Gabriel: The staff is friendly. Smoothies are fresh and were okay. However, the salmon burger was just awful: it cost 17.5€, was fishy and left a bad aftertaste! The NY Style “Bagel” tasted fine, but it WAS NOT a bagel. The bagel had the consistency of a dry baguette! A REAL New York style bagel is boiled before baking. This makes it a bit chewy and springy - not airy and dry. It’s as scandalous as calling a carbonara with heavy cream and lots of garlic “Roman style carbonara”, and it is an insult to NY bagels.
Response: Hi Gabriel, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We are sure that next time it will be better!
Michael Mayrhans
Michael Mayrhans: Food was dry and terrible. Soggy avocado, dry bowl and the worst bagel I have ever seen on this planet. The music is blasting so loud with terrible radio dance music that you’ll get headache. Everything was perfectly messed up

andre souza
andre souza: It’s a really good option for vegans and vegetarians. The price is quite fair and is just a few minutes from Piazza Duomo. The only inconvenient is the really tiny space. I spent something around 25€-30€
Jacob Hougie
Jacob Hougie: Lovely little hole in the wall type place! Delicious vegetarian food, with good prices and quick service alongside a good selection of well priced wines. I highly recommend the mixed platter which contains smaller portions of not I things (all of which were very tasty). Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian, with some vegan options and everything I had was delicious. Most (or all of the wines were also organic).
Luca Ovov
Luca Ovov: This is not a cheap, easy, chic or comfortable restaurant… So if you’re looking for one of this characteristics stay away! I think it is one of the oldest veg restaurants of the city, cruelty free from around 1930. The ingredients are very fresh and all the plates are very tasty besides are not stuffed with salt or oil. The bathroom is something metaphysic and I love it. Definitely one of my favorite vegetarian restaurant in Milan
Rebekka van Roemburg
Rebekka van Roemburg: Great food, service was a bit unfriendly at first but got better, the toilet was ridiculously small (and outside). Vegetarian options: The whole restaurant is vegetarian with lots of vegan options
Grace Son
Grace Son: Combo menu. Best. Could cry for their torta salata. A lil expensive, but best veggie food with the best experience.
Mattea Pascal Rossi
Mattea Pascal Rossi: I have never been to such a restaurant before. The personal is the worst. So unhelpful so ridiculous with their covid law. We have international covid travel pass that we used to get into the country. It did not work on their machine because their machine is broken and they kicked us out despite showing our pass and the validity date. Mind blown.
Response: Mattea, our "machine" is not broken. We use the official and updated app of the Italian Ministry of Health, which reported your certificate as expired (the only case today). Therefore, as required by law, we could not let you in. Like it or not, these are the rules.

Eeva Markkanen
Eeva Markkanen: There are no words to describe this unique vegan restaurant or the taste experiences it offers. The dishes were all prepared with care and a huge amount of flavor had been infused into them, which you can only dream of in a home kitchen. Both the risotto and the tofu were cooked perfectly. I hope to come back here again sometime.
Response: Thank you from La Colubrina and all its staff!
Simon Naylor
Simon Naylor: Incredible fully vegan/plant based restaurant. Possibly the best vegan restaurant in Milan for quality, location, atmosphere, taste, price, friendliness, and overall experience. The pizza was so good, with vegan cheese, we had to order a second pizza! This might be the most perfect vegan Italian pizza you can find anywhere! All our meals were delicious. Even the organic/biological cola with brown sugar was amazingly good! Very nice place for a meal alone, with friends, our for a special occasion like a birthday, or anniversary. Very nice atmosphere with pretty lights. The staff communicated with our group in both English and Italian. Clean bathroom which seemed to accommodate families with young children, and wheelchair accessible. Very passionate staff. The owner/chef explained the desserts in the display case to us very well and passionately. We tried 4 different desserts and they were all amazing! Front room, and back room. Indoor seating only. I appreciate the staff’s big smiles and happily exclaiming “Go Vegan!” as we said goodbye. It seems clear they love what they are doing; providing incredible dishes everyone can enjoy without explanation, suffering, or cruelty to animals. We would definitely eat here again and recommend it to everyone. Non-vegans should also enjoy this incredibly delicious Italian cuisine!

Rodrigo Azevedo: The place is fancy and has a nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I tasted 1 appetizer, one first course and one main, both were perfect. Definitely, one of the best food I have tasted in Europe.
Response: Thank you from La Colubrina and all its staff!
Alexandru Duminica
Alexandru Duminica: We were met with such warmth and despite them being fully booked and incredibly busy, we were told to come back in 30 minutes and they did make some room for us. It is an incredible place for anyone who is vegan and non-vegan. We had the VEGAN CHEESE PLATTER which consists of 8 different types of homemade vegan cheese along with bread and a delicious strawberry jam to taste the cheese with. For the main course, we had the Delizia d’Inverno pizza which was fantastic and the gnocchi. The pizza was packed with flavour, the cheese sauce was delicious, however, it is not necessarily the type of pizza you would expect. We did wait some time to be served, but we understood how busy they were so that did not matter at all.

Maggie LC: Amazing plant-based whole food. Amazing starters, mains, and deserts. Everything light yet satisfying and filling. Just perfect. Has vegan wines.

Helena Vilella
Helena Vilella: very nice restaurant, small and very cute inside with a nice terrace at a fantastic location. I stopped there because I saw the bright colour burgers and that they were vegan and it was great. I had the cherry bomb one, the lentil patty was fantastic, the pink bun delicious, the lettuce crispy, the cheese nice and the sauce delicious. a bit expensive but would definitely repeat.

Maayan
Maayan: A really great vegan buffet! delicious food. The lasagna for example is amazing. and as beggining we got a nice bread with a dip! Just a little too greasy, and also the food in the lunch box on top of each other, which is less fun ..
pedro nekoi
pedro nekoi: Very delicious and affordable vegan option in Milano! It was very tasteful and with lots of options. The staff was also super nice and spoke English! 💕
Justin Boyle
Justin Boyle: You can fill up for less than a traditional restaurant, but the food isn’t good. Had some cauliflower that was overcooked and very bland, and some Asian rice noodles that tasted like they contained half a bottle of soy sauce. I’m glad that I took a small portion because the food isn’t agreeing with me. Everything was kept cold behind the case and then reheated, seems like a recipe for food-borne illness (I believe most buffets use heat lamps for warm foods to maintain proper temperature)
Hari swaminathan
Hari swaminathan: Excellent vegan food. Large variety. Great service. Alcohol served. Decently priced. I would definite go back here again!
Francesco Bubbo
Francesco Bubbo: Great place for vegan food. You pick what you want to have in your plate and pay by its wheight. Vegeteblas tasty but not too spiced. Staff polite and nice. This is a 5 star + place
Response: thanks Francesco we are happy that you enjoyed our food and so much work we do every day. We look forward to seeing you again at your next visit thanks from the Alhambra Team
Mike Johnson
Mike Johnson: Quite tasty. Definitely on the hip/pricey side of things. 100% vegan if you are into variations of seitan and other ultraprocessed stuff. You choose what you want from a buffet and pay by the weight. Drinks are surprisingly not very original or healthy for such a place. Good selection of wines.
Jai Sheffield
Jai Sheffield: This place is so awesome! Food is delicious! Staff are lovely and speak English, easy to find, reasonably priced, heaps of options to choose from to suit every fancy (food related fancy 😉) I enjoyed a beer, vegan tiramisu by the way is a winner and an espresso. I highly recommend this place! Top quality vegan food, check it out!

Panghea Ristorante: what do users think?
Jana Meerman
Jana Meerman: €20 for a 4 course set menu plus additional dessert option all entirely vegan and absolutely exquisite. Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had, truly mouthwatering. A quiet little spot just back from the river and no English spoken, it’s perfect.
Isha Shah
Isha Shah: I was excited to visit but very disappointed. Not many reviews mention how long you really have to wait for subpar food. I got the set meal with the lasagna but it was more like soft water. The desert also had the same consistency which is weird for an apple pie. Not much flavour apart from the first course and the price could not justify it. Staff friendly and nice but overall very average experience. Not fine dining to me just bland and boring.
David S Scarlett
David S Scarlett: This is the BEST restaurant I found in my entire 1.5 weeks in northern Italy. Plus…it’s vegan and gluten-free! Even if you’re not vegan, please get over it and give it a try. Everything is sooo fresh, filling, and delicious. The food comes in a 4 course tasting menu for only 20€!!! The hostess doesn’t speak a lick of English lol so you’ll have to figure that out. We used the translator app. A must-go for sure.
Roli Okorodudu
Roli Okorodudu: Delicious set menu. Helpful staff. I speak very little Italian ! Top ambience. Would come again and wine recommendations spot on.
P G
P G: This restaurant is a fine dining 100% vegan restaurant. They had excellent food and great customer service! There is no set menu as the chef prepares dishes based on the fresh ingredients she receives each day. I got a five course meal and want to share a bit about each of the dishes I was served. My meal started with a salad made of bean sprouts, jackfruit and ficci d’india sourced from Sicily. I was then served soup which contained different kinds of beans and the stock was made of puréed zucchini and carrots. As first primi I was served pasta with vegetables. Second primi had a few lentil balls and spring roll kind of thing filled with pasta and nuts. The dessert had sorbet and a sesame biscotti. Everything was very well presented and absolutely yummy!!! I am including some pics. Forgot to take the pic of the salad though. I would highly recommend this place if you are in Milan.
Aleksa Zivanovic
Aleksa Zivanovic: Milano is really a city of good food and Panghea was a top surprise, for me this is what vegan ,fresh cooked food is all about. Amazing meals and very friendly staff.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Katelyn Gimbel
Katelyn Gimbel: I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and didn’t know what to expect as we were visiting from the United States and it was such a beautiful experience and the food and organic wine was fantastic! He used to live in Milano many years back and didn’t think we’d find many vegan options but we were pleasantly surprised! The food, presentation, staff and overall atmosphere was perfect for this occasion and we were shocked at how affordable the bill was!
