Ross Poldark: I went a few days ago to buy a pair of special glasses for blue light shielding digital devices (to be used for PCs), I am very satisfied with the purchase. Also I had to have the frame of an old pair of glasses bought many years earlier from S&V fixed, which I still needed and Miss Valeria was really very kind, and did a wonderful job, my old glasses are now as good as new. Highly recommended shop. I will definitely contact them when I need optical assistance again.

Gyða Þórðardóttir: I came to Grisafulli Eyewear in Milan with my glasses that needed repair. I am from Iceland and was in Milan for 3 days and had only these glasses with me. I came in the store on a Friday and the owners were very nice and promised me that they would repair my glasses the same day. When I fetched the glasses the owner said that the repair did not cost me anything and said he just wanted me to think of the store and come back when I was next in Milan. I will certainly do that and would like to have this very professional and nice store in Iceland.

Stephany Miranda: Great place for an eye exam, prescriptions glasses and prescription sunglasses. The staff was super friendly, Andrea helped us through the process and spoke great English. We walked in and they were able to schedule an eye exam on the same day. They have a good selection of name brands. We ended up getting 3 pairs of glasses and we are very happy with our decisions. They are also dog friendly and allowed our dog inside the store while we shopped.

krissi tina: I ordered some custom made glasses from Domenico. I am based in the U.K. so the entire process took place on WhatsApp! The process from design, to me receiving the glasses was phenomenal. The design based on the discussions we had was superb and the fit was crazy! I have never in 35 years of wearing glasses had such an amazing fit, despite it all being done remotely. My glasses were sent to me beautifully packaged and with a lovely hand written note. I am constantly stopped in the street, and asked where I got my glasses from. Other opticians also ask and have commented on the workmanship. The finishing touches, such as my name and company logo were more than I could have asked for. I can’t rate this company and Domenico highly enough. I am now deciding what to have made next!

Looking around for sunglasses, I get to this lovely shop pretty close to my accommodation in Porta Romana. The shop looks like the classic place with optometrist, frames and sunglasses…what I wasn’t expecting at all is that they can also help you design the frame you desire, using the materials you like, the lenses, ecc…all specifically tailored to fit your face! I was just blown away!!!!!! Met this Domenico guy, who in about three hours made me the most beautiful pair of sunglasses I couldn’t even dreamed of! Service is incredibly kind, professional yet surrounded by a touch of Italian hospitality, which I really loved. Lorenzo Vigano': I needed to renew the lenses but I was very torn because in the past I had several misadventures in large chain optician shops (badly fitted lenses, badly calibrated or not meeting the specifications of the ophthalmologist) I was resigned to the idea of shooting various opticians of Milan before finding an acceptable one and instead with the San Gregorio optic I hit the mark on the first try. I found an attentive and scrupulous service, light years from that received in other more famous points of sale and also assuring myself an excellent product at a price very close to what I hoped to get. Thank you very much, now I can say that I have my trusted optician!
francesca Corradi: At Ottica San Gregorio I found a familiar environment with trained and patient professionals who calmly and competently guided me in choosing the best eyewear, both aesthetically (they have very original frames) and considering my lifestyle (half of the day in front of PC and cell phone). They also recommended Galileo lenses against blue light: after trying them for two months, I can say that they make a difference at the end of the day and my eyes are more rested. It took me a year to buy a pair of glasses. Thanks to Covid-19, red areas and above all my eternal indecision, I have visited at least ten shops with relative estimates and I assure you my experiences have not always been positive.
