Cook in Milan: what do users think?

Michael Wood: We had so much fun with Clara, she taught us about the history of food in Lombardia especially regarding seasonal and local ingredients. We learned a ton (especially about gluten free cooking) and strongly recommend this to anyone!
Response: Thank you Michal for this nice review: I enjoyed cooking with you too!

Aviv Ron: very recommended! Clara is awesome and teaches you all the techniques needed for italian cuisine from pasta hand made and pizza etc... I recommend also taking the market tour before, it is a must.

Zoe BORDELON: I had an amazing time with Clara! She's the perfect host to show you around the market and to teach you how to make real Italian cuisine :)
Response: Thank you for rating our cooking experience, I hope to see you again soon in my kitchen!

Kin V: The evening cooking class was a great experience which allowed us to learn a lot about Italian cooking. We liked being able to choose the recipes so that we could cook meals that we like and want to be able to make ourselves. Aurora was a welcoming host and good instructor. The meal we made was delicious, among the best meals we had during our time in Italy!

emily robinson: Cook'n Class with Market tour in Milan This is my third year taking culinary classes with Cookandine in Milano. I did the Italian Market this time around and really enjoyed the experience. Italian chef Lucrezia was thorough with the instructions and processes throughout. She really knows her stuff. This is a very hands on cooking experience so be prepared to learn and have fun . Cannot recommend Cookandine enough. It's a great way to experience the real Italian cuisine and learn some nifty culinary skills too.

Dori Sedransk: Our family absolutely loved this class. We chose four recipes and he couple, also there at the same time, happened to have chosen other recipes, so we all shared. Everything was so delicious. Not only did we learn how to make the recipes, but we also learned the meaning behind certain things. For example, putting hot bolognese in the bowl before the pasta and again after, to keep it all hot. Excellent all around!

Thoma Keller: Chef Aurora and Chef Lucrezia are mother and daughter, and fantastic teachers! You don't just learn the recipes, you learn new skills that will enable you to make tasty Italian plates at home.Great experience.

Andrew Mc Coy: The class couldn't have been better! Lucrezia and Aurora are great! No matter what your cooking level is they really make you do all the recipes from scratch, and everything tastes amaizing. It's rewarding and fun.

Claire Pollock: I traveled a lot around Italy and this has been one of the major highlights and best meals.Thank you Lucrezia and Aurora, you are really good at sharing your passion.

Mariagrazia Roselli: Fantastic group cooking class!

Isabell Seiferling: A real holiday in Italy shouldn't be missing! Aurora and her husband were very hospitable and it was great fun to cook together. The atmosphere was great and it was a pleasure to cook the food. Everyone who wants to have a nice memory of their Milan trip should book the cooking class!

Anne Theresa Eidhoff: I attended the Pizza Class and I had a great time. Not only did I learn that Pizza dough needs time and a gentle and constant kneading, but Loredana was a caring and entertaining host. I was the only one on the class and she took her time to explain and present all the steps in detail. We did not only prepare Pizza but also variances in food based on the prepared dough. Though the price for the course is mentionable it was a fun and interesting afternoon activity - one you can bring home and invite family and friends to relive Italian Pizza moments.

Oriol: Great lesson! We learned how to do make an amazing lasagna! :-)

Antonio Rotella: I learned a lot of notions .... a nice climate in which to try something new .... I won't be the fastest person in the world to make stuffed pasta (tortelli, ravioli, etc ...) but you can always improve Loredana was smiling, affable and clear in her explanations!

Margherita Rezzaghi: Very nice experience, Loredana very good and prepared.

Letizia Bertolaja: Fun activity to do in a group. Prepared and helpful staff!

Farm 65 - Culinary Hub in Milan: what do users think?

Muzn Shaheen: Absolutely recommended place ! We had a team building activity for a group of 10, Alessandra was amazing organizing the whole thing, and Barbra the chef was so passionate and made the team building activity so worth it! There was another lady serving drinks and she was so professional and helpful. Food and ambience were great, ingredients used were just so yummy. Cleanness - excellent Music- excellent

Dikla Bar-On: Great place and the staff was very decent, kind and professional. We did an event from the company, we checked out some similar places but surely it was the most beautiful place we saw. Very similar to Master Chef on TV.We were a total of 50 attendees and the place was definitely enough for everyone and was spacious and comfortable. The buffet at first was great and delicious. The fuchsia was amazing and fresh, we couldn't stop eating. After we moved to the cooking area everything was arranged and in the most professional way, the aprons with the names (we pre-ordered) were a wonderful idea. Alessandra was available for any question and request we had, it was amazing to work with her, we were in English and she speaks excellent and it helped tremendously with all the details.I definitely recommend to anyone interested in an amazing experience. Very recommended and delicious. Everything was really perfect, even more what we expected
Response: Thank you very much Dikla!:)

Manon Braeckman: Amazing location, amazing concept, amazing people and amazing food. You are welcomed in an incredible space, an old factory, where the culinary hub is located. The staff is super friendly yet very professional at the same time. A great experience to learn more about cooking and in a joyful way.

Erika Fariello: I bought a couple's Apulian cooking course package as a gift for my partner, hoping it was a good idea for €150. The menu to be prepared during the evening, as per the online site, was mussels arraganate, Apulian bombette and stuffed aubergines. I also chose this course because I was intrigued by the preparation of bowler hats. With the exception of the first mentioned, we have prepared something else: a simple pasta with mussels and aubergine parmigiana. The lady who held the course was certainly an excellent cook but it was as if she cooked by herself without giving any indications on what to do, unless requested. To understand what was the preparation step to follow, we tried to snatch something from the couples next they were in the same situation. In the various preparations, tools were needed that weren't on the table, so you had to ask someone from time to time. Total disappointment, it cannot be defined as a course but an hour and a half of self-management paid dearly. I advise against it.
Response: Dear Erika, thank you very much for leaving us your comment, albeit not positive. For the change of the menu you are right, we should have communicated it - it is an isolated case, we usually do not change the menu of the evenings after having published them. The cooking evenings are always organized so that during the evening, in addition to the chef, there is a kitchen assistant and a dining room manager. We are sorry you did not express your concerns during the evening, that evening we were all present and we would certainly have listened to your comments, trying to act at the moment. As for the cost, the purchase of the evening is certainly not linked to you only dishes that you ate, the activity is developed so that the participants can cook all dishes, from start to finish, with all the necessary equipment, a dedicated kitchen , a chef who, being there only for the participants, answers all questions or curiosities, staff who sets and clears up, available to satisfy every request, in an exclusive location. We are therefore sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations.

andrea cerutti: Wonderful experience made as a couple. Tasty and easy to apply recipes. In addition to learning several new dishes, the two hours spent at Farm 65 were really fun. Super recommended if you feel like doing something new with longtime partner :)
Response: THANKS ANDREA ❤️

Roberto Di Santo: I attended a fabulous Japanese cooking class! Super nice and very good chef (Japanese) helped us prepare delicious dishes to eat in company ... beautiful location, spacious and full of light. A highly recommended experience, certainly to be redone also with my company in a team building cooking key.

Manuela Nicosia: I attended the evening with Stefano Callegaro, where we prepared three fish-based courses. It was a great experience, with accurate explanations of all the steps. Definitely to be redone.
Response: Thank you very much Manuela

Nina Rosso: Beautiful location, the courses are well organized, I cooked in my station, all following the chef step by step. I learned many things in just two hours, they welcomed us with an aperitif and we ate three delicious dishes (made by me! 😂) I can't wait to go back with friends

Monica Bianchessi: Large spaces, where you can organize both cooking classes and private events. Management is excellent. Alessandra, the store manager, is kind and helpful. Very good at solving any type of request. Furthermore, the cooking courses are at a highly professional level. The environments and workstations are clean and well organized. Congratulations to all the staff! Well done.

Carolina Gandini: Wonderful and ideal location both for an experience with friends and for a corporate event. Great professionalism of the organizers, willing to listen and satisfy every request. To try!

Bree Bisshop: This was the best thing myself and my son did in Italy. The chef Giacomo was warm, friendly and professional. He made us feel like family and made it exciting and fun for my 11 year old son to join in. The chef gave us insight into Italian food culture and history in an entertaining and inclusive way. Even though I would say this was family friendly, he catered for all ages. We felt included in every conversation while not feeling like the conversation was limited either. The food itself was amazing and we have bought an ice cream machine and are building a pizza oven now at home for my sons new-found love of cooking. I don't think I could recommend this experience more. The only problem was the meeting point was difficult to find, I think a google maps pin would definitely help as the directions leads you to the building itself which is busy and full of food places.

Aurelija B.: Amazing chef. I found out that before we made pizza totally in a different way and now we know how to do it right with the right ingredients and all the moves! 😀The class was perfect. The place was nice and well equipped. We made some friends there! Received a lot of attention and practiced to the details. So much fun and really useful tips and tricks. Gelato recipe was so simple and tasty! We learned all the secrets of how to make the cone and the ice cream was amazing. It's so simple when you know it. My 10 and 12 years old kids loved it! It was the best dinner ever and we made it ourselves 🙂👌

Gianoli Sebastiano: What a beautiful cooking class experience The chef Giacomo was enthusiast to share his knowledge with passionate people coming from all over the world! Bravo! Perfect English accent also Highly recommended

Dan Andreev: I was very tired and skeptical on the way to the class, but all of that went away in the first 2 minutes. The chef was very informative, funny and captivating, he explaind every move, the how and the why. He helped every one prepare there dish and answered every question. The dished were amazing so beautiful and delicious. I can't wait to get home and try it out myself.

Artur B: We had a fantastic day with Francesco! Although the Italian cuisine is not completely new to us, we learned a lot of new things about the Italian way of cooking. Very interesting! Francesco is such a nice guy, he explained everything very well and simple. Needless to say that the food was amazing. The market tour in between was really great! We discovered a lot of new things although not the first time at this place. All in all one of my best cooking experiences so far. Highly recommended!

Emad Salah: It was amazing time we spent with the greatest chefs in the world! What a beautiful and clean place, we enjoyed so much and a lot of beneficial cooking classes we got. Keep up the fantastic work guys!

Igor Onyshchenko: The cooking class experience was outstanding and was definitely one of the highlights of our team building activities! Chefs were super attentive to each participant, they were super engaged and involved and the entire atmosphere was super welcoming and comfortable. Thanks a lot! And needless to say, Giacomo is the hottest chef I've met so far!

Lily: Chef Francesco was great! We started the class preparing tiramisu - it soooo good. We then made our own ravioli and went on a market tour where we got to sample several food items like cheese, dumpling, truffle parmesan cream, I also learned a lot as from Francesco explaining how to shop for pasta or differences between red and blue lobster. After the tour, we watched Francesco demonstrate how to cook risotto for lunch. Francesco is patient, and had a lot of great stories. Very fun and yummy class!

Bilikiz Adebayo: I attended this cooking class Saturday October 8th! My husband and I had an amazing time learning to make a pasta dish and tiramisu. Omg biting into that ravioli was my fav! Ugh sooo good! Giacomo was our instructor and he had such a great spirit about him. His way of explaining things and demonstrating was great. I just kept asking questions and he would answer and then give some history input as well. Overall 10! Thank you for having us!

Velibor Jakovcic: An excellent course in the preparation of Napoletana pizza! Chef Francesco was excellent, kind and accommodating, especially with our 10-year-old daughter, who found this course as well as the ice cream preparation course very interesting! For every recommendation!!Thank you

Chef and the City: what do users think?

Dan Flanigan: My department had a corporate gathering in Milan. It was our first time meeting face-to-face. We coordinated a private event with Chef and the City and it was amazing. Chef Ilaria arranged a special menu to accommodate a mixed group of locals and international visitors including dishes for vegetarians. The menu was great. Her instruction was was fun and informative. And it really bonded the group to make and eat a meal together. I can’t recommend this highly enough, and I hope to do it again the next time my team is in Milan.
Response: OMG Dan! You make me blush 🌹and ...you made my day with this review. Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to host you all guys, you are a great group believe me! I'm honoured you choose my experience for your first meeting face to face :-) You all are absolutely welcome to come back whenever you can! Take care and keep cooking! Chef Ilaria

Janick Ferrier Hickman: Chef Ilaria provided us an amazing, fun and interactive experience! Her humor, knowledge skill, and presentation made this cooking class!!! Well worth it!!! I recommend it 100%
Response: Omg Janic you make me blush! Than you so much for your words :-) I'm so happy, glad and honoured to host you. You all guys are amazing! Take care and keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

Sara Dawood: Me and my husband took the class in Milan in our honeymoon, and cooked with chef llaria a whole menu! It was a wonderful experience for us, we enjoyed every moment and did not feel the time passing. She is a very professional and friendly chef, HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you chef for the warming hospitality.
Response: Dear spouses it's such a pleasure to read you here! Thank you so much for your words. I'm so happy we could cook together , it was a pleasure for me to share my passion with you. Enjoy my hometown ! Stay safe and keep cooking 😋 chef Ilaria

Iván RDK: This cooking class definitely overshot any expectations I had. The place is clean, clean and extremely easy to work in. The second you come in, you're welcomed with some snacks, coffee and a great conversation with Ilaria. Then, you spend around an hour and a half learning how to cook 3 italian dishes, where everyone could do a little of everything. After that, you get to eat what you cooked with a great wine, and honestly the dishes that were cooked were better than 99% of the food I've had in Italy's restaurants. If I could give this experience more stars, I def would. This is a must-do if you're stopping in Milan!
Response: Oh! Thank you thank you and again thank you for coming Ivan, it was a pleasure to host you! Keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

Maciek Winnicki: Awesome experience, blending a bit of fun, a bit of learning, a (good) bit of great food to eat (which you prepare yourself), and a decent dose of good time spent in great company of Chef Ilaria. No matter if you come with friends, or (as in our case) with total strangers, you’re up for a memorable event. Well worth it!
Response: Dear Mr Magic thank you so much!! You and Anna have been great guests ☺️ thank you again for coming!! Take care and keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

jackie hardee: This is a must!!!!! So much fun & you learn so much. The instructor is so passionate about cooking and makes you feel like you’re the only one in the room. She gives you confidence in cooking the dishes. It’s like cooking in the kitchen with family laughing & enjoying amazing food. Can’t wait to come back 🙌🏽🍝
Response: OMG Jackie you make me blush! Thank you so much :-) I'm so happy you felt like home! Come back whenever you want 🌹 Stay strong and keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

T Fo: The best experience for all ages! Our family of 7 had the best time making amazing authentic food!! Highly recommend

Melissa Schoenfeld: What a great evening of cooking, learning and laughter! My daughter and I had a great time with people from around the world learning to cook pasta, bruschetta and tiramisu properly.Thank you so much!
Response: Ciao Melissa & Maggie! I'm so happy you enjoyed my class ☺️ thank you again for coming! I hope you'll replicate my recipes at home ;-) Take care and keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

Christina Antonova: Perfect choice for those who wish to explore the world of Italian cuisine. The chef was Illaria, we cooked two dishes - melanzane alla parmigiana e crespelle con spinaci, it took us (we were just in 2) quite 3 hours with eating. The taste was amazing! The quality of the dishes is on the level of a restaurant and the recipes are not so simple. Illaria is a person that is really inspired by this world and she makes all the others burn. She always told us about some small secrets and recommendations that just a chef can know. Thank you, Illaria, that's definitely the experience to repeat. PS. If you haven't finished to eat the dishes there you gonna take all home.
Response: Oh Kristina! Thank you so much for coming and for choosing my class as a gift for Massimo :-) It was a pleasure to host you and I hope we can cook again together! You'll be always welcome if you want to come to visit me for a coffee, also! Keep cooking 😋 Chef Ilaria

Paula Golemo: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI highly recommend this cooking class. Had an amazing afternoon cooking with chef Ilaria. Her passion for food and love for cooking is truly contagious! Not to mention it's a pleasure to have an opportunity to cook in a professional kitchen. I will definitely want to do it again and learn some more next time I'm in Milan!
Response: Oh thank you so much Paulina! Sure nex time we'll do some more different Italian recipes ;-) You'll be very welcome! Arrivederci 😊 Chef Ilaria

TEATRO7 srl: what do users think?

Ilya Kolmogorov: Last weekend we celebrated my 40th birthday by organizing a cooking event at Teatro7 Lab. We had high expectations for the evening, but they were exceeded on every account! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team of Teatrosette Lab, but especially to the Chef Stefano Callegaro. The venue was great, the food was absolutely delicious and everyone had a really good time. Stefano did a fantastic job by not only teaching us the secrets of the Italian cuisine, but also being an excellent facilitator of the evening, creating a very warm and trustful atmosphere. My friends and I had a fantastic time and would like to say a big thank you for that! Best regards, Ilya

Alice Migliorati: DISAPPOINTMENT! The couple only has to compose the bases for the courses prepared beforehand by the staff. The surprise menu is very poor and decidedly banal and simple for the price paid per person. It wasn't a complete cooking class but we expected it to be an opportunity to learn something new and challenge yourself but it didn't. Friendly and helpful chefs and staff. I would not recommend it, the game and the menu are definitely not worth the price paid.
Response: Good morning, which evening are you referring to? In the Pairing Game all couples prepare a three-course dinner, starting from scratch. I'm sorry you were dissatisfied. We always do our best to improve and will certainly take into account your valuable criticism. Soon

Vanessa Bertuletti: HIGH EXPECTATIONS NOT SATISFIED! Negative points: -Too many couples and rather small space to be able to work well and freely. - The role of couples was simply to lay the foundations for the courses that had already been previously prepared by the Staff - Surprise menu that turned out to be very poor and simple for the price that was paid per person. It is not necessary to offer refined and expensive raw materials, it should not have been a complete cooking class but certainly the opportunity to learn something new and test yourself in the kitchen but it was not so. Chef Alessandro De Santis and friendly and helpful staff.
Response: Good morning, I'm sorry you were not satisfied with the evening. The simplicity of the preparations is explained by the fact that you want to privilege the work of a couple, without penalizing those who have never cooked. However, we will take your comments into account and try to improve. Have a nice day and happy holidays

Stefano Francia: Wonderful experience with chef Alessandro De Santis, who was able to transform my initial embarrassment given by not knowing how to cook into a pleasant and fun experience in a short time. About three hours of time in which we had the opportunity to create a fantastic menu whose complexity was not a problem at all thanks to the directives of the chef and his trained staff who followed and advised us in all the steps. An evening that far exceeded initial expectations, certainly to be redone, highly recommended.
Response: Thank you for the compliments on behalf of all teatro7 staff. Soon!

Simone Angelicola: Cooking lessons and couple activities. Informal, fun and well-kept environment
Response: Thank you. We hope you have found yourself at ease. Soon!

Fabrizio Stancher: We had high expectations for the evening, they were absolutely met or even exceeded! We had a lot of fun, learned something new and ate very well!
Response: Thanks late 😀😍

Paola Binetti: Pleasant and welcoming place; offers single-issue cooking courses of various durations.

Davide Meloni: Excellent choice of cooking classes. I had to change a date twice and they accommodated me very kindly and professionally
Response: Thanks for the nice words! See you soon

Luca Montanari: Just finished a 6 day Japanese cooking course ... Chef Hirohiko Shoda very knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions ...
Response: Thanks 🙏

fabio ricci: Excellence of food courses, where food is also excellence for takeaway in these hard times #botteghemilanesi
Response: Thanks 🙏❤️

La Scuola De La Cucina Italiana: what do users think?

The honest Reviewer: Fantastic experience - Luca was exciting, attentive and shows us all the skills we needed to become a 5* Pasta Chefs. It is just a shame that his skill and wisdom did not rub off on me ( Shop bought pasta it is ) Buon appetito

Aurélien Mazeraud: Cooking course on 4 "primi piatti" consisting of looking at the MasterChef cooking in front of you. We cooked spaghettis by ourself and that is all. A potential for a great course but we need to put much more hands on.

Arnstein Aassve: The chief was spectacular and very professional. A great experience!

Dimitri P: Academy of Italian cuisine located in the Cadorna area of Milan, excellent experience where it is possible to understand and learn how to cook well in a simple way, in a more pleasant moment to taste the foods prepared during the lesson, accompanied by a good beer or wine, all in a convivial! The topic of the lesson dealt with "street food", I can assure you that it looks like a "4 soldi" kitchen and instead it is one of the most difficult to do also thanks to the high quantity of food to prepare. Excellent condition of the chef Andrea Maloberti who managed to combine professionalism with the lightness of the lesson without making it boring or too soporific .... Experience that I recommend.

A S: I attended several courses at the school. Great chefs, very helpful, nice and true professionals. The modality of the course is very dynamic, each participant has their own place where they can cook. And then you taste all the dishes prepared! I will definitely come back for other courses.

raffaella p.: Yesterday evening December 14 was simply fantastic, very interesting but also fun. Chef, as well as the staff, available in explanations and always smiling. The head of the school is very nice. The large kitchen is well equipped. I hope to repeat such a pleasant experience soon!

Chiccohp2: The fish starters course was interesting, like the other courses followed so far, certainly the teachers I met are all very well prepared. It is a great experience to be able to prepare dishes with the suggestions of a professional. With Chef Morlando, teacher of the lesson I followed, I understood where I was wrong about some seafood products without having to ask questions, during the course we range from the notions and the various tricks of the trade, since there are other people in the classroom it becomes interesting to listen to the experiences of the others. people and questions with their answers. I like to cook I have always fished in spearfishing and line since I remember but cooking with a Chef from Campania who was probably born on the sea or certainly knows him well, everything is simple from the preparation and cleaning of the products to cooking.

J S: To be avoided. They are incommentable. After confirming the course they canceled at the last minute without even warning. All AFTER confirming it a few days before ... They made me look bad. They are the total absence of seriousness and organization. I am embarrassed for them.

Marko Jurkovic: Beautiful show cooking experience in a young, fresh and super clean environment. Staff very well prepared and above all patient.

Davide Masi: I attended the single-issue Wok course, and I really enjoyed it. In the three hours available, the chef illustrated and guided us in the various preparations and illustrated the different cooking techniques. I found the lesson very effective, the chef's suggestions on ingredients, recipes and techniques for preparing dishes in the wok were very useful. Definitely recommended.
Response: Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Andrew Mc Coy: Great fun! We had a Team Building Cooking Class Experience where everyone had nothing but positive things to say, and we would not hesitate to recommend Teamcookingmilan's team. Anyone who is looking for something to liven up their social work events, be sure to get in touch.

Claire Pollock: Great experience! I was one of the vegetarians in this team building and I really enjoyed it! The food came out to be great and more than enough, and the missing recipe didn't change the fact that it has been a great evening. Also, the chef in charge did everything possible to offer an alternative recipe to cook, and taught a dedicated recipe for the vegan colleague. Vegetarians and vegans' colleagues might have missed out on a recipe to cook, but I still recommend it. Thank you.
Response: Thank you. I knew that all of you were happy about the cooking class and I am glad you write it!

Thoma Keller: A great idea. I had a wonderful time with my colleagues at Team Cooking Milan. We had a very instructive cooking class where we learned to make gnocchi, tiramisu' and orecchiette. The chefs made it simple for all of us to follow and, most of all to replicate the recipes at home. It's a great alternative to a work dinner, but at the same time professionally arranged. Thank you.

Renske: Team cooking Milan may know how to cook but not how to communicate with and service customers. We had booked a class for 25 of our employees and paid well in advance (which I would not recommend in hindsight). We had agreed on a menu with vegetarian dishes too since 8 of our employees are vegetarian. Due to a delay in our schedule, I called Aurora to ask if it was possible to start half an hour later and she simply yelled at me that we had to be there on time or at most 20 minutes late, otherwise there would be no cooking class. We rushed tot the location only to wait for them to pick us up. The cooking class felt rushed, instead of cooking three dishes, we only cooked one. At some point Aurora herself joined the class that was lead by Lucrezia and they argued and bickered with each other thoughout the class. Aurora also pulled me aside to tell me we had to pay for an extra person because they had only accounted for 24 while it was very clear from the payment and communication that there would be 25. When we were eating it became apparent that there was no main dish for the vegetarians because they forgot and didn't have any food left in the pantry. That meant we had to go out and get something ourselves for all the vegetarian people. The panna cotta came straight out of the freezer and was served half frozen. The next day Aurora sent us a very defensive email saying that they had been understaffed and therefore forgot the vegetarian dish. She didn't offer any compensation whatsoever. When we replied and asked for compensation they never responded. I would not recommend going here if you would like to be taken seriously as a paying customer. P.s. it speaks volumes that they can reply to a bad review within 2 hours but do not reply to emails.
Response: BEFORE PUBLISHING THIS REVIEW YOU ASKED ME FOR 700 EUROS. Anyway, the vegetarians prepared two out of three dishes and they themselves said they were very satisfied and apologized for their boss's attitude. We missed the chefs at the last minute due to Covid and you yourself have said that you really liked the dishes prepared. You have blackmailed us by asking for money but our success goes beyond this blackmail

Eataly Milano Smeraldo: what do users think?

Emad Abdelhamid: Nice place if you fancy buying expensive but very good quality of food. I had spaghetti pasta with mozzarella buffalo cheese. It was delicious but not the cheapest. The quality of food was good though. You could buy other food from there such as vegetables, fruits, cheese, wine, alcohol, meat, pasta, flowers, plants, sweets, chocolates, and many other things. The mall is located in the city centre and easy to get to. There is a place to park your bike for free.

Cyphar: Wonderful combination of an upscale market with a handful of restaurants focused on local, seasonal cuisine. Good idea to eat first so you don't end up buying way too much from the market! Food and service were really quick. Restaurants do close from 1500-1800, but Google doesn't reflect this as the market is open (and thus, Eataly is "open" - just not all of it).

Jezzer Pezzer: Was in Milan for business and stayed nearby. There’s one of these in London that I’ve yet to try but this one is pretty good and reasonably priced. Yes, it is a bit of a ‘tourist trap’ and you can get better food wandering off the beaten track but Eataly nicely captures the essence of good Italian food with plenty of fresh produce all in one place. The simple spaghetti in tomato sauce with mozzarella was tasty and so was the pizza. I bought some huge cherries too. They were delicious. Service was fine if a little matter of fact.

Gadi Yekutiel: It's always nice to stop at Eataly. The store is clean and organized like a museum, and you can find so many interesting stuff. We got in for a quick lunch. Nothing fancy. A simple caesar salad. The ingredients were fresh and really good, but the dressing was not the usual caesar salad. It felt like a mayo based dressing. Just simple and without much flavor. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I expected and it wasn't great. The service and vibe is always nice, and I will still come here, just not having the Caesar salad.

Faris Alh: This place is superb, we visited it 4 times during our travels to Milan, an excellent restaurant in first floor where they serve a very delicious fresh pasta and pizza. I love their margarita and four cheese pizza it was very delicious and crispy You can find all the ingredients they use in their supermarket downstairs and big variety of Italian pasta and cheese and herbs to cook the best dishes at home The staff were very helpful and nice, this is a must visit destination in Milan

Andra-Irina Vasile: Lovely market both for groceries and souvenirs as it has lots of artizanal brands as well. It is a bit pricey, but worth a visit. The restaurant upstairs has nice food, but the portions are not so big for the amount of money that you pay.

Kate Cast: I absolutely love this place. For a quick bite or high quality grocery. High quality meat, cheese, chocolate and any typical Italian dishes & food. Not the cheapest but deff worthy.Recommended dishes Pastries …More

Swanky Christy: I love Eataly and we got a lot of good products there. Pistachio cream, chocolates, different pasta, marmalade, spices, prosciutto... But we always get caught in between lunch and dinner time. Everything was closed for lunch after 3 pm beside terrace outside. I can tell you in 30 degrees heat pasta with the seafood isn't a great idea, but it was only appealing food on the menu. Pasta came horribly al dente and we both didn't finish our meal. Wasn't worth it. Also it was so packed that they sit people the way that they stare at you while you eat.... Buratta and tomatoes were good.

The Schlatter Brothers: A very nice place with a great concept! It was my second time in an Eataly, after visiting the one in Sao Paulo. Eataly has a lot of excellent products, of high quality and therefore quite high prices. We took a cappuccino and were very surprised at the low price. Only 1,5 euro for a consuming it on site, where many other restaurants and stores in Milan charge 3 euro or more for it. This store is worth a visit.

Lori Adamson-Salas: One thing, do not come here if you are hungry and everything inside for dine in- dinner is closed. Nice place though for grocery shopping. A bit on the expensive side for some items, but there is a great selection of various food items. We really enjoyed the gelato inside.
