Jack Wootton
Jack Wootton: Friendly service! Well priced, delicious tikka masala curry - open when other places are closed too (€1 Pepsi too!). Grazie!
Lavanya Kalilivayi
Lavanya Kalilivayi: Unfortunately I visited only the take away joint. Not the actual restaurant. So there was no service. It was self service and very little place to sit and eat. But the taste was good. Not excellent but good.Food: 4/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
adarsh charanpahari
adarsh charanpahari: If you haven’t had indian food in a long time, it will satisfy your cravings but the food quality is pretty average.
Quynh Anh N.
Quynh Anh N.: This restaurant is nearby Unimi. I and my classmate sometime came for take-away dinner. The location is very central and convenient for us, food is not bad but its not well designed for table service and limited of offers. 7€ for a combo (rice+meat+vegetable)
Ignatius Pinto
Ignatius Pinto: Caution! Spoilt food! We asked the waiter to pack chicken biryani and cheese cutlet for dinner. While they were packing the food, some other guest who was dining outside, gave back the biryani and went away. These waiters suspiciously took our packed biryani to the kitchen, brought it out, sealed and gave it to us. When we unpacked the food, to our shock we got a stinking biryani. It was smelling so bad that we doubt it might have been lying in the restaurant for more than a day and shalimar served a stale food. When we took the biryani to shalimar and told them that it is spoilt, the waiter said "This is not Pakistan or India were you can get back the food and we will return your money." When I told him why do you sell stale food, he replied "things once gone out of our restaurants are no longer ours! The point is that, the waiter knew the biryani and cutlet was not good to eat but he still packed it for us, even after the other customer refused to eat. These guys are cheaters, they will sell any thing to make money. Please viewers, I have taken time to write this comment so that you be aware of this restaurant. It is not worth eating here because the price is less. They sell for less price because it is stale food.

Just India Indian Restaurant: what do users think?
Emma Adam
Emma Adam: Excellent place for Indian food. The service was really good and the waiters are super nice. Tried the fixed menu and it was a good way to try a number of different dishes.
Response: Thanks 😀😀😀
Ashish Gupta
Ashish Gupta: If you are looking for the real authentic Indian food, this is the place to be. I have tried multiple Indian restaurants across Europe and this is the best so far. Tangy chutney, spicy kadai paneer, and crunchy naan. Just so good.
Response: Thanks 😀😀😀
rohit singh
rohit singh: Had recently family dinner at this restaurant on a trip to Milan. The hotel is nicely located and near to central station. It has nice ambience. We had ordered chicken tikka, paneer kadhai, naan and rice. The taste was okie and nothing much to joy for. I think it could be better as gravy was quite thick. We also find staff little rude sometimes and has to call few times for attention. One great think was tea which was definitely worth it. Overall not recommended but can be tried as there are not much options in authentic Indian restaurant in Milan.
Response: Thanks sir for come in ouer restorent for visit . But u told US tha cury of the Kadai paneer Is thik . I think u go to the Google and serch the respy of tha Kadai paneer... Sorry sir but One dish not sufficiente for three peoples .when u share One into three. Think about It. Thanku
Arjita Gupta
Arjita Gupta: Amazing experience!! The food is awesome. Authentic indian taste. Their kadai paneer was better than few places in india. Must go if you are looking for authentic indian food :) They also serve mouth fresheners after food like in India haha. Loved it!!
Finnur Gunnþórsson
Finnur Gunnþórsson: Old shrimps feared they might be unsanitary but ate them perhaps the strong spaces saved me. The meet served as chicken was very rubbery and strange. Souses very good. Great service. Very expensive considering quality of food and availability of cheaper food with higher quality (fresh ingredients) in cheaper looking establishments very close by.
ashish maheshwari
ashish maheshwari: Amazing Indian food. Would recommend chana masala , kadai paneer , mango lassi. Very nice staff and vibe.
Response: thanks
Rohit Jain
Rohit Jain: Best authentic Indian food experience in Milan. Waiters were super friendly. Open late till 10:15pm. Good quality and low prices. Strong recommendation Vegetarian options: Lots of options. Awesome taste Parking: Parking space exactly in front of restaurant

Tandoori bites: what do users think?
Tj X
Tj X: Delicious Indian food found in Milan, Italy....who would have guessed?!! Tandoori Bites is a wonderful dining experience in a quiet neighbourhood on Via Pavia, Milano. The hostess sets the mood as she dims the lights on a quiet Wednesday evening. The decor is colourful and fun and holds meaning to the young hostess and her family. She is so warm and engaging, and shared her story of how she came to open this restaurant.😢 The food is so yummy, the flavours delight the palate! 😋 😍 We were so hungry we dove into the plates before taking appropriate pictures.😂 Also, the mango lassie is creamy and devine. 😋 Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian dishes available.
Antonio Teti
Antonio Teti: The ambience of the place is really cozy, and the staff is very hospitable and nice (common characteristic in India, but very hard to find in Milan). They speak both Italian and English without problems. The food here is definitely worth it, while the prices are contained (they have good menu options with all courses). This is not the case with everything though, as one single pice of naan is 2 euros, a bit too much. All in all, this Indian restaurant is definitely suggested.
Prakhar Sharma
Prakhar Sharma: This place is a one stop solution for Indian Cuisine in Milan. The restaurant is tasteful not just in terms of food but the ambiance too! The staff at the restaurant ensures you have the best of experience eating there. The craze is high not just in Indians but the locals in Milan as well as the place is buzzing all day! Cheese Naan and Kadhai Paneer are a must!
Giorgio Devecchi
Giorgio Devecchi: I find this indian restaurant very good and cozy, a deep dive in the traditional Indian food and spice flavours, to confirm the authentic Indian origin they have original Indian beer too, and a fantastic coconut liquor. Very good!
Jay Bhatt
Jay Bhatt: Actually decent Indian food for Milan. Chicken and naan were cooked in an authentic tandoor oven. Recommended!
Ahad Mogari
Ahad Mogari: I really loved the place, Food and the staff !Everything was great, will come back again for sure !
Becky Grims
Becky Grims: I ordered takeaway and the food (vegan) was amazing. Good variety of vegan options except the rice and the Naan, which was a pitty. Delicious food with a lot of seasoning, but they took the initiative to ask how spicy I liked it, which was great. Fully recommended for vegans ! I ordered the yellow lentil curry, Chana Masala with Samosas, and Chapati.
Santosh Kulkarni
Santosh Kulkarni: Good place to have Indian food. Ambience is also good. Prices are reasonable but quantity is little less. Price : Veg biryani costs around 8 euros..but if you eat in restaurant only then 2 Euro per head is charged
Shravani M
Shravani M: Tandoori bites is a very nice place. They serve tasty Indian meals to anyone who wants to have a food dine experience. Although the quantity is a bit on the less side. Their service is nice too. Hope you keep it this way. <3
ayesha saddiqa
ayesha saddiqa: Me and my friends had dinner after a long day of Touring around Milan. The food was very average. We would have felt nice if the staff was more helpful in telling us about the serving sizes and the menu properly when we asked. The lady at the reception seemed almost unhappy to see us come. However an Indian traditional touch was added to the decorative ambience which was nice! The pakora and samosa and the chutneys were awesome! P.S. I felt like if we were Europeans, the attitude of the staff would have been much more welcoming. As we observed their moods shifted as soon as some europeans customers came to their restaurant

Mete Bilgiç
Mete Bilgiç: We tried garlic bread, mix of starters, 2 types of chicken and the rice. They serve also some sauces for free. I think it is a good idea to begin with the mix of starters. You can taste different Indian aperitifs. If you are a garlic lover, you must try garlic bread! The food was delicious, it is very tender chicken meat. The waiters are really kind. Considering the atmosphere, food and the service quality it is one of the best Indian restaurant that i’ve seen in Milan. Recommended.
Response: Thanks a lot for ranking and for review
Sudipto Mukherjee
Sudipto Mukherjee: Great cuisine variety of Indian decent.. Biriyani quantity is phenomenal and staffs are courteous and from India (they speak Hindi, Haryanvi) and are well versed in English/Italian language as well. I had a great dinner here at Milan thanks to them.

Demi Renee
Demi Renee: This place was delicious. As tourists, who are not used to eating Italian food every day, this place offered a well needed new cuisine to our diets! We were so thrilled to find the quality of the food exceptional, and lots of vegetarian options. We came back three times over our two days in Milano, we couldn’t get enough! Thanks for the great food, we will be back!
Response: Hi Demi, thanks a lot for your ranking and the amazing review. We hope to see you again
Bazila Banday
Bazila Banday: Very bad experience. No authentic Indian taste in any dish . I have had the best North Indian cuisines at top level restaurants and even the local food being an Indian myself. It doesn’t compare to anything at all. Pricy and not worth the hype. Staff is mannerless and there’s no professionalism. There are better options out there guys , don’t go there and waste your money. Worst decision ever!!
Response: Sorry not to make you happy. A lot of Indian people like our dishes, but obviously it depends on your tastes. Usually people say that our staff is kind and nice …
C.E. Davis
C.E. Davis: Fantastic food at very reasonable prices, with friendly service. The ambiance is lovely as well. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Lots and lots of veggies options!
Response: Thanks a lot for ranking and for review

Lorenzo
Lorenzo: Absolutely good Indian food. Very affordable price. My friend and I took 2 portions of rice, 2 different curries (Dahl and aubergines), yogurt sauce and naan + 2 glasses of wine and bottle of water for 38€. Bargain for Milan prices! Staff are friendly but a bit clueless I must say!

Koustabh Dolui: Really really good and authentic food. Homely ambience. Must try out the fish menu!
mcciftci
mcciftci: delicious, i highly recommend chicken tikka masala and tandoor
Sipra Pati
Sipra Pati: A family-run restaurant serving homemade food! Unbelievable, but true. When you are traveling and you crave ‘ghar-ka-khana’ (home food)... this is THE place to go to when in Milano. It is a small, cozy place... reminded me of old government guest houses in India - genteel service, white ceramic dinnerware, old walnut-finish rotund chairs. The place is pricey, I was told - I am yet to check other restaurants and this is my first visit to Milan. The portion sizes are small - just enough for one person. I will probably return to this place before I leave Milan.
Hamza Khan
Hamza Khan: Came to this restaurant to eat something different. Do not recommend this place, it took over 30 min to put our order in, then over an hour to have the food in and 1 hour to get the bill. It was so hot inside all of our were sweating . Then they kept messing up the bill
sagar chatterjee
sagar chatterjee: The food was great. I ordered chiken harabhara kabab, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, pulav and in desert I tried phirni and gulab jamun aur it was so real and good, must try.... The only thing I missed in the food as an Indian was coriender leaf because of which the exact indian flavour couldnt come out very well and the garnishing also looks dull in chicken tikka masala. But the taste was good.. Must try...
Shivani NA
Shivani NA: Food is good. And you can get really spicy food if you ask the staff. They have wide variety of options to choose from. Staff is really nice and friendly
Narayan Rana
Narayan Rana: Good food, homely and great service! Been there few times and was always happy with the food.
A Ferrarotto
A Ferrarotto: The food is really good! Good and friendly staff. As everything in milan of course prices are high but at least this place has pretty good Indian food! Highly recommended

Abhishek Jain
Abhishek Jain: Waste place for food They charge 8 euro for a plate which has stale food which they heat up in oven Food taste was bad, dal, aloo sabji, kadi pakoda was not up to the mark Food quantity is also less which is not enough for 1 person especially indians When asked for more rice the owner said there are others also who need food. Yetish M: The best Indian Food in Milan by far. Staff is amazing and service impeccable. The place has a homely atmosphere and the food taste homely as well. Mr Surjan Singh, the owner, is very welcoming as is his whole team. Will definitely recommend.
Dileep Chandwani
Dileep Chandwani: Indian food best place in MILAN . Surprisingly Italian were eating samosa , Naan and Indian sizzlers . Felt very good
Nina Mushiana
Nina Mushiana: One of the best Indian food I have ever had. If you are in Milan, you have to eat here. “Perfect”, “delicious” does not do justice to the food. It tasted like home made food. Everything we ate had a very unique taste. The owner and rest of the staff was super nice. We called 30 mins before closing and they stayed open and served us fresh food.
Med Alex
Med Alex: I don’t really give bad reviews and when I do that’s because it’s really bad! Since the restaurant we went was closed today so we wanted try another Indian restaurant. After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures, I have decided to give it a try with this restaurant… unfortunately it was a disaster as in the food and the portion. Just the day before I tried another Indian restaurant - Abiyana Restaurant and I would rate that 5 star for food taste, service and portion size. See the picture for take away size The briyani is not briyani, I would say rice in tomato sauce with some cut vege for the price of €11. The taste was just rice in tomato sauce and the portion was a disaster. Just look at the comparison of the portion size from the neighbouring restaurant. I was shocked! If you need an authentic genuine and honest Indian restaurant, you should try Abiyana Restaurant
mc belen
mc belen: Highly recommend tasty food and good quality :) highly recommend the meat menu.Kind personal , good attention.

Taj Mahal: what do users think?
Sasi M
Sasi M: The ambiance speaks for itself, very good lighting with beautiful portraits from India; Staffs were very friendly and service was excellent. Food tastes good but definitely lacks the real touch from back home. Also they delivered the food very quickly so made us wonder how that was even possible! But overall a very good place to dine in.
Hitesh Parmar
Hitesh Parmar: One of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in Milan the staff were very friendly and the owner was so welcoming that I was touched. I would highly recommend anybody visiting Milan that’s looking for authentic cooked Indian cuisine to taste and judge for themselves. As we were vegetarian and we ordered a spicy vindaloo sauce the chef went out of his way to cook it specially thank you very much and wishing you the best.
Ibrahim Begh
Ibrahim Begh: I am from London and I have to say this Indian restaurant was fantastic! The food was perfect and we asked for extra spice as this is also our traditional food and everything was spot on! The biryani had the perfect level of spice and the butter chicken was splendid. I was also very impressed with their customer service and I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place to taste authentic Indian food.
Nik G
Nik G: This place has it all - great ambience , one of the best Indian food in Milan, friendly staff and owner - they even offered me a free shot of the local drink The prices of items were pretty reasonable as well. For a family of 4 , we paid around 42 euros which wasn’t bad at all. Anyone visiting Milan and bored with eating pastas must try this Indian restaurant
Raghavendra R
Raghavendra R: Delicious food, excellent service and great ambience. The restaurant is located very close to Isola metro station. Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options are available at reasonable prices. Vegetarian food also taste delicious.
Débora Pessanha
Débora Pessanha: First of many experiences with Indian food! Feel in love with the cuise! Had the privilege to go with an Indian friend that said the was the most authentic Indian food she found in Milan.Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Khuzai Khalid
Khuzai Khalid: The food was 10/10 authentic indian food, the place was nice and clean and well decorated. service was more than amazing DEFINITELY recommend!
Nick Grigoropoulos
Nick Grigoropoulos: The food was tasty(the only disappointment was the cheese naan bread, which had no cheese at all) great atmosphere, the servers were really well informed about the food and they tried to make us feel really comfortable, as soon as I told them that this was our first time in their restaurant. At last, we had a misunderstanding with their sweet menu and their prices, but the owner was really polite and told us that they will change the menu so it will be more clear for all the future customers. I could post four stars, but the price was quite high for 2 persons(65,20€ total)
Anju Joy
Anju Joy: Good ambience . Good service . Good Dessert. The food was severed too fast, but I should mention it as a demerit of an Indian restaurant. Even none of the restaurants in India had served me palak paneer and chicken masala + roti and rice altogether in less than 10 mins 😉. I believe that the indian food is slow cooked and it does all the work. There are no loopholes to make it fast to get good food. I think ,they have a Magic Pot in their kitchen!😉
Matteo Paramatti
Matteo Paramatti: The food was very nice, although I would recommend asking for added chilli when ordering, if you like spicy food, because the dishes we had were mild at most. The waiters and staff are very kind and welcoming, as is the atmosphere, mostly because of the background music, the typical Indian furniture and the decorations, as well as the ceiling. The service runs until late, which is a very good thing in this area near the centre of Milan. The only negative thing were the samosas that we had for starter, which, compared to the real ones (that we were brought from Pakistan), were not quite as tasty and aesthetically appealing.

The jalfrezi and dhansak meat curry dishes we ordered were really nice and flavoursome. Portions were just right and we finished the 2 main dishes with rice between the 2 of us. Rajput: what do users think?
Malik Rehman
Malik Rehman: I had unfortunately a very unpleasant experience. I ordered food through uber eats and They sent really bad quality food in much smaller portions than they serve. and it was packed so bad that I got a soup and a curry in a plastic bag ...
Meshal Al Rubiaan
Meshal Al Rubiaan: The Indian food is so good here and the prices are reasonable
Arlindo Conceição
Arlindo Conceição: Good price (10 euros lunch time). Great food. And wine unexpectedly good in the menu.
Alexander Araya
Alexander Araya: Food is good for Italian standards. Service was quick. Although one of the waiters was a bit unfriendly. Still a good place to eat. And also they already charge a 1.50€ cover, so at the end the bill is a bit more expensive than you want.
יואב דמתי
יואב דמתי: Very nice place. Great tastes and very good service.
Christine Falta
Christine Falta: Very good food, very friendly staff and great place. The Naan together with the sauce variation are amazing, I also enjoyed the mango lassi a lot- lots of great choices
Tobias Jensen
Tobias Jensen: Rude owner and terrible food. Not worth half the price
Mike O'Doherty
Mike O'Doherty: Good food, kind and knowledge staff and great value!

Shalimar: what do users think?
Mughees Ahmad
Mughees Ahmad: Had Lamb Madras there which was really good! And the freshly baked Naans I had are the best so far I ate outside Pakistan!! The service was quick and the food was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for halal food in Milan.
SAJ RAHMAN
SAJ RAHMAN: The Lamb Biryani was okay. The nan was okay. However the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Tarka Daal lacked flavour. We also bought a mixed salad which was horrible and the price was quite extortionate for what it was. We ordered 2 cokes which did not come until after our food (only when we asked for it though) normally the drinks are given right away. Service was not the best. The restaurant was not busy at this time, so not quite sure why the service was bad. If you are from the UK, the portion sizes are half of our average, so if you decide to eat here, make sure you order more dishes. Overall do not recommend.
Mohammad Kashif Hyder
Mohammad Kashif Hyder: Good Halal food with different delicacies of India and Pakistan.Price is better compared to oher similar restaurant.Taste good.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mineral Water, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Biryani …More
Hannah Button
Hannah Button: I ordered butter chicken from Shalimar on Uber eats and received an inedible meal. The chicken was a gooey paste and the sauce was a thick and slimy oil. This is nothing like a typical butter chicken dish. Quite frankly, this was a disgusting meal and I am shocked they thought this was ok. I do not recommend this restaurant.
M.B.N Arrfou
M.B.N Arrfou: Food is amazing and prices are good. Totally recommend
Faisal Yusuf
Faisal Yusuf: Had the best Pakistani food outside Pakistan at this restaurant! Everything was very fresh, superbly spiced and amazingly presented! An absolute 5 Star for the food. Same goes for the friendly staff. The prices are for the offered quality very nominal. Thank you very much Team Shalimar, we shall definitely come again when we are in Milan next time!
Laurie Harding
Laurie Harding: Madras looks like gravy ans the quality of the meat is so poor its basically unedible. Honestly I risked food poisoning, if I could give this zero stars I would. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
MOHD KARAM J MOHD Ali
MOHD KARAM J MOHD Ali: Nice place good food halal do not serve alcohol price reasonable

Rangoli Indian Restaurant: what do users think?
Caspar
Caspar: Really really disappointing. The menu says that you get rice with your dish but the waiter forces you to order more rice for 6€!! I ordered a rice dish and the waiter recommended me to order additional rice. The menu said that it is only sauce but what came was dry, bad rice with canned vegetables. This is one of the worst experiences I ever had in whole Italy. Never go there!

Cat S
Cat S: Decent Indian food- the butter chicken was sweet and I loved it! Havent had it like that before and the chicken was cooked well (though there wasn’t as big of a portion). The naan was also good which we used to eat the curry with (as it did not come with rice). Please be advised that there is a 3€ service fee. But overall the prices were decent.

Maanalii Mankad Vora
Maanalii Mankad Vora: Loved the food here... Getting that charcoaled tandoori flavour was superb. We ordered mili jhuli sabzi and Paneer kadai. Paneer kadai was little dry but tasty. Naan was soft... Dal and rice was perfect way to end... Definitely worth all the stars.
Response: Thank you so much for many stars.
rajesh bansal
rajesh bansal: Would not recommend to go to this place as they will finish all your expectation for atleast Indian cuisine.. they will not provide the food even close to 1% of the actual Indian food and taste.. If it would have been below 1 rating I would have given that as Hospitality- 0 they are not even welcoming when we entered the hotel to greet customer.. I believe they judge their customers.. we have travelled various part of Europe tried various restaurants this was our worst experience Food - we ordered takeaway our food 1 Lasuni nan 1 tandoori roti 1 kadai paneer and 1 rice..nan provided was not Even close to garlic nan.. and Sabji kadai paneer , have a look at the photo below this is what they call kadai paneer.. worst food worst behavior..

Curry Twist Ristorante Indiano: what do users think?
Ore
Ore: Best authentic Indian food in Milan. Family run restaurant with plenty of vegan options. Super tasty, full of authentic Indian flavour. My friends also enjoyed there non-vegan dishes and said it was one of the best Indian food they have ever had. Highly recommended.
Roman Berlincity
Roman Berlincity: Nice and not too big restaurant in a lively environment. The staff was very friendly and familiar and you immediately feel at home. The food is good, but priced a bit in the higher segment. I would certainly come again
Muniba Shaffi
Muniba Shaffi: A lovely restaurant with excellent Indian food .We had the butter chicken and chicken vindaloo .The staff are really nice and friendly .Their starters were delicious too .
Nouman Shawkat
Nouman Shawkat: the most tasty indian food in milan city. and 5 star place to make a dinner with GF and Families
Kirti Patel
Kirti Patel: We based our visit on the reviews here. We were rewarded with a wonderful meal, made fresh including the desserts, which with Indian establishments is not always the case. The service was good and welcoming, and the prices very reasonable. What else could one want from a evening dining out in an unfamiliar city. Vegetarian options: There is a substantial vegetarian offering.
Tiffany Winman
Tiffany Winman: Good food, service, ambience, and price. They offer a preset menu or a la carte for lunch. I got the preset menu for 8 euro. It came with a paneer pakora starter, mushroom masala, dahl, rice, naan, and a dessert. All was very tasty. I thought the dessert would be kulfi, but it was more of a coconut sweet. It was very good. When I ordered chai tea (what they call tea normal), they brought it out in a cute little tea pot, which kept it warm. It served two cups and was also very tasty. Very cleanly and nice Indian music in the background.
sattesh
sattesh: Lovely Indian restaurant. Looks like a family run business. Been here twice. Price $$ range and good quality. Quick service and they play some Indian Bollywood songs on their smart TV 👌. They also do deliveries and give take aways.
Federica
Federica: I come to this restaurant very often. The food is really tasty and prices are fair. The staff is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!
Sudhakaran Nair
Sudhakaran Nair: Good Food and Good Customer experience. I arranged a small Birthday party here in this Restaurant for my Son and Owner gives suggestions and takes care of arranging things perfectly.

The price is super reasonable and the quality exceeds my expectations. The service is also nice. I highly recommend this and you can book online via The Fork to get discounts for some special hours.

Luna Pasch
Luna Pasch: We ordered food and it was very disappointing… the naan was totally dry and not eatable, the dishes were packed in plastic containers which from my point is unacceptable with hot food and my potato dish was without sauce. Never saw that in my life before. Will never order here again.
