Ratanà: what do users think?
Eugene Malobrodsky
Eugene Malobrodsky: This place was very enjoyable especially since its located next to an amazing kids playground. Since we had our kids with us they really enjoyed playing on the playground while we waited for food. The food tasted great. The Caesar salad was not caesar at all, but still good. Its more on the pricy side, but experience is really good. The wood is very good but I would not say it was amazing. Location and experience is great though.
Sergio Hernando Álvarez
Sergio Hernando Álvarez: Beautiful 5 course tasting dinner, we were very impressed by the 3 wine pairings, they really suited the food. Everything was cooked on point and the taste was elaborated without nonsense. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant, and the terrace, whilst in Milan center, felt secluded and private. Thanks for the hospitality!
Anca Dobre
Anca Dobre: One of the best restaurants I have ever been in Milan. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. We took the five course dish and they were extremely helpful to recommend us based on our dietary preferences. Highly recommend it
Jezzer Pezzer
Jezzer Pezzer: Nice restaurant in an unusual location next to a children’s playground! Food was tasty and delicious but I was really full from lunch earlier so couldn’t finish my secondi which disappointed the waiter. My colleague had really bad jet lag so he couldn’t finish either! Loved the dessert (rhubarb).
Hedgemeister
Hedgemeister: Amazing! Perfect place for lunch. Traditional Milanese food, just done better. Good selection of wines and bio too. We sat outside on a glorious last Oct day, stunning. Service was not good but hey its Italy.
Stephanie Wei
Stephanie Wei: Back to Ratana after 4 years, this restaurant still is one of my favourites. The patio is great with lots of shade. I ordered a pasta from the main menu for my kids and they happily split it into two plated portions for them. It was delicious. We had the meatballs in a cone that are nice. The menu changes and I don’t recall seeing anything we had on our prior visit on the menu. This visit I had the trout. It’s great there’s a playground right off the patio that the kids can play while we finish our meal. I’ll always come back to Ratana when I’m in Milan.
Morgan Beatty
Morgan Beatty: So pleased we were able to end our Italy trip on such a high note by dining at Ratana. Beautiful location, high quality service, really really great food. Seasonal menu while still offering a list of Milanese classics all the time. We had a seasonal porcini mushroom appetizer followed by the classic saffron risotto with bone marrow and seasonal pumpkin gnocchi as first course. Then their chicken and trout second courses followed by a really delicious peach raspberry dessert.
Matthew Miles
Matthew Miles: After seeing Stanley Tucci eat the costoletta here on his “Searching for Italy” my friend and I HAD to come and try it for ourselves. What can I say… this was the BEST meal I’ve eaten in YEARS. It nearly brought me to tears it was that good. No doubt in my mind at all that anyone who can should come and try the food here! We will most definitely be back - thank you for such a wonderful experience and memorable meal! The service was impeccable!
Jon Hansen
Jon Hansen: We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The tasting menu was great. The wine pairing was perfect and I will be requesting the risotto on my death bed.
Ryan Jay (Phoenixangel)
Ryan Jay (Phoenixangel): The food was excellent, and I expected no less. Only the lamb ragú we had was a little over salted, so that came as a bit of a disappointment. Bone marrow risotto and desserts were enjoyable. Overall recommended!

Susanna Mostaghim
Susanna Mostaghim: I swung by this place because it was close to my Airbnb and I desperately needed dinner as I hadn’t eaten all day due to traveling. I ordered a 3 course meal with dessert and chose a wine based off a recommendation from one of the staff. The people working were very kind and accommodating, the service was well paced for Italy, and I really enjoyed the experience. The portions are a good size for the price in this area of Milan and the food itself is delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
Amanda B
Amanda B: My mother and I saw the positive reviews for this restaurant on our trip to Milan, and it by far exceeded our already high expectations. The food was marvelous, the ambiance was elegant, and the service was personalized. We were given perfect wine pairing suggestions for our dishes, and the food was some of the best we had during our time in Milan. The house made pesto was definitely a highlight. Antonia, the owner, has put so much love and care into her business, and I would definitely go back. I highly recommend her restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing meal and memorable experience.
Tiffany Grace Kwok
Tiffany Grace Kwok: This restaurant has a slightly dated fine dining decor, but the food is all homemade (from the bread to the limoncello) and the staff are unbelievably welcoming. Amazing prices and great portions, I wish I could order even more!
Patricio Cortes
Patricio Cortes: Excellent experience, great and kind service, very tasty food, live music. Very fancy yet not pricey. Would recommend for any date or special occasions. Would come again and would definitely recommend.
Leslie Heindel
Leslie Heindel: It was hard to get great photos as it’s dimly lit. But the food was incredible and service was top notch! Great recommendations from the staff and I was very impressed.
haley
haley: Amazing!! We only spent a few days in Milan and wanted to find somewhere nice for our last meal. This place did not disappoint and the atmosphere was made so special with the live piano.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Діана Віталіївна Бевцик
Діана Віталіївна Бевцик: I really admire the craftsmanship and sophistication of your restaurant. This is definitely the best place to eat in Milan. Of course, it is worth mentioning not only the level of your chef, who, like Ratatouille from the cartoon, knows everything and will cook anything extremely delicious. But your service staff is also at a high level, the girls are very nice and sincere. For the location, a separate wow!! I will come back again and again and I recommend you to visit it❤️
Vincent Battandier
Vincent Battandier: Fantastico ristorante!!!!!Delicatessen food, nice service, excellent wines and piano bar atmosphere…. 👏🙏👍
Jerome Duport
Jerome Duport: Excelent food. Very tasty. The service is also excelent. Will definetely come back !Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Stefan Hoogland
Stefan Hoogland: Very good dining experience. Portions are rather large. We would have appreciated some vegetables along the main course. However, it is a very nice and fancy experience for a decent price

Serene C
Serene C: One stop for all the Italian local dishes. Taste was average, more like a restaurant for tourist. Price charge on dishes and beverage worth for the portion served. Convenient to Milan central, easy located and English menu provided. Outdoor seating is great! Stop over for a quick dinner, it was good.
milad zoghi
milad zoghi: We got Calabrese pizza that was awesome!! I highly recommend it. The pasta was so so. It could have been more spicy, in my opinion. The only bad part was its price. They took 2.5 Euro/ person, for services!!! The coca cost 4 Euro which was much more than other restaurant!! The staff were also supportive and explain the difference of dishes for us!
Byean
Byean: Convenient location near the central station. Food are good and just the right portion. Reasonable pricing as well. However, they are understaffed so be prepared to wait 10 mins or more to get the waiter’s attention Food: 4/5 Pricing: 4/5 Service: 4/5
Joelle W
Joelle W: Amazing pizza and friendly service. We dropped by here for a late dinner. Convenient location near the train station and they were open late compared to other places in the area. The pizza was delicious!!! Wish we could have come back to try the pasta too
Adrian-Lucian Borteș
Adrian-Lucian Borteș: Contrary to what everyone says, the personnel is friendly and you don’t have to wait an eternity for your food, even though we were English speakers. We ordered a pizza and some pasta. The food was very tasty and freshly cooked. I would recommend to anyone that wants to eat there to make a reservation in advance.
Silvia Magurean
Silvia Magurean: Loud and crowded place, but we loved it! 👏 to all waiters working there like busy bees and are always friendly and helpful. Pizza was really good.

Maccheroni ~ La Vera Cucina di Casa Italiana: what do users think?
The Tempest Diaries
The Tempest Diaries: We opted for this place by chance and it was a delightful experience! The menu is offbeat, with local seasonal ingredients and the quality of the food is quite nice. They serve their food with these woks and pans which is really cool. We were offered complimentary Prosecco and appetizers which really got our taste buds rolling for the main course to follow 🙂
Anna Kaletkina
Anna Kaletkina: Very cute and cozy place! Nice design and concept of serving each dish in a pan. When we came, we were offered a free glass of Prosecco and a compliment starter from a chef. We didn’t expect it at all which made it even nicer! Food is veery tasty and relatively cheap for the Milano prices. Definitely great price/quality ratio! Recommend :)
Klajdi Poshnjari
Klajdi Poshnjari: Amazing place and very friendly staff. They served us a glass of prosecco and an appetizer as a welcome. The food was really good and the prices were normal or even below the average for Milan. Highly recommended!
Lillian L.
Lillian L.: I got the Carbonara and the bacon was sooo yummy!!! The pasta itself could have been boiled a minute or two longer. Interior has a/c and servers are nice! They speak English. The menu changes daily. There is a 3.5 euro service charge per person.
SM
SM: I would recommend this restaurant. We were able to make a reservation easily as we were dining on a Sunday and many places weren’t open late. The server was fantastic. We got an amuse-bouche prior to our meal which we were not expecting. Dishes were server straight in the pans which I loved. The carbonara was fantastic, a must get when you’re here. I personally got the red sauce meat pasta and my friend got the white one. Also delicious if carbonara isn’t your thing.
Ezgi Emrealp Kurt
Ezgi Emrealp Kurt: We found this place via google. One of the comments said it was the best pasta he had, and wasn’t he right?! The food, the wine, the desert, the staff and and service: all 100% perfect. Definitely recommended if you like to eat the best italian food in Milan. They even serve prosecco as a welcome drink. The chef sent a complimentary dish to the table and it was amazing. Can’t wait to visit this restaurant again!! Thank you ❤️❤️
Jana Vujovic
Jana Vujovic: Amazing carbonara, super creamy with nicely crispy guanciale. A bit expensive but carbonara is definitely worth it! Only critic is that wines are more expensive than they should be. They also offer a glass of prosecco and a small appetizer in the beginning, all served in cute dishes :)
John Raphael Lum
John Raphael Lum: Awesome Carbonara, with its creamy and decadent eggyolk-based sauce, crispy chunks of pancetta, and pasta that was cooked to perfect doneness. More than the food though, the service was excellent here, with special shout out to service team member Stefano for bringing forth Italian warmth, genuine hospitality and sheer professionalism!
Sarah Pace
Sarah Pace: Starting off with the general atmosphere of this place, the bright white lights made the restaurant look very cold and clinical. Onto the food, we were presented with an amuse-bouche which seemed like a nice touch, it was a pork-based taster which was ok. We ordered a carbonara which was fine and a tortellini in brodo. Let’s talk about the latter - I was served boiled tortellini (which I assumed would be homemade at least but turned out to be the store-bought ones you’d find in a fridge). I was hoping the “brodo” which was so brilliantly described in the menu would save this dish. It did not. The waitress poured what seemed to be ready-made broth, just like the one you’d find at the corner store in a carton. It wasn’t hot but lukewarm. I ate my sad tortellini in broth and needless to say, we didn’t even dare proceed to dessert.

Ashley “Ar” C
Ashley “Ar” C: Food are great specially the big bone of Angus. The slice steak was good but too many spices it covers the taste of the meat. Place is quiet good but its too crowded. It’s too many tables to close to another tables its like 5 meters of distance to one another. So it means you don’t have any privacy when you want to talk something private. Also if a client beside you doesn’t smoke you felt embarrassed. In short you can’t smoke peacefully or you got bothered if others smoke besides you specially for the person who doesn’t smoke. Waiter are quiet kind and always available. It’s seems classy restaurant but it doesn’t. It’s just all business to earn. There weren’t have an order to handle better the activities. Just served the food and that’s it’s. When it come to foods ok good quality no comments but a real classy restaurant they also prepared for everything also for a doggy bag or let’s say when have a leftover foods. Like our experience not all the food we’ve order we haven’t finish at all so we ask for doggy bag and they put it in aluminium foil and plastic bag we order a rib Angus and we didn’t order a cheap foods. As an advice Please take care of your customers not just earning money you have a good potential when it comes for food but organisations was not good.
sarah lim
sarah lim: A most magical place! Lovely atmosphere. The waiters were so lovely and the food was amazing! Were here for just a stopover and they treated us to a true taste of italian hospitality and even gave us a free lovely fondue on the house! Thank you! Will definitely be recommending this to friends and will come back if I am ever in Milan again!
Simgolata
Simgolata: It was a good experience to be there. We have liked every pieces that we chose 🙂 pasta was delicious 😋 when i compare the meat that i aet in Florence (other Fiorentina s), Florence wins, but this was also okay 👍 the place is like a huge house so you feel comfortable 🤗
Ermanno Papa
Ermanno Papa: Very nice location with a large outdoor seating. Historical restaurant famous for meet. Food is very good quality and tasty. Staff very professional. Only one negative thing: difficult to find car parking.
N A
N A: Last meal in Milan and it was a great choice.. place so nice..people class and the vibes the waiters are so nice..Which was a top notch 😎 i will miss this place and for sure coming back!
Jos van Kalker
Jos van Kalker: What a place to eat Italian meat. We tried a variety of starters with meat and buratta and loved it. The waiters were great as well, good help to pick your piece of meat. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Jack Knight
Jack Knight: Exellence at its finest expression. Flowless service, exquisite cusine, final bill ridiculously appropriate. I could never expect to eat such high quality fish and sellfish in a restaurant in one of the most turistic area of Milano. A must go.
J H
J H: A gem that’s overlooked amidst the other tourist traps. The seafood soup was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood version of carbonara. My partner loved the sea urchin pasta as well.
Ovidiu
Ovidiu: Highly recommend seafood restaurant in Navigli. Have been here several times, food is always great and the staff is very friendly. Adriano gives the best wine suggestion.
Miami Food Scene
Miami Food Scene: Best restaurant in the area. Gente di mare is upscale and unpretentious at the same time. Easy going atmosphere with impeccable service. The seafood here is fresh and well prepared. As you come in you can see their cold seafood bar or prep station with the fresh selection of shell fish and fish. The menu is complete and has a little bit for everyone. Keep in mind it is seafood mostly. Royal tower of seafood is impressive and delicious. (Splurge... go big) Lobster Catalana was cooked perfectly. Pasta gente di mare is delicious and so flavorful. Great place to have dinner in Milan. Thumbs-up

Vladimir Velikov
Vladimir Velikov: Absolutely lovely environment with delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Great customer service, the best experience in Milan. Highly recommended to visit it even only for a glass of wine.
Amit Hayile
Amit Hayile: Very pricey in comparison to what you get, six tartines with one wine spritz and one soft drink brought us to the sum of 33 Euros..They had a good variety of tartines, The tartines base was soggy and although the toppings were fresh all of those we tried, were nothing special.
Anna Pokrovsky
Anna Pokrovsky: Stopped here for an aperetivo, really nice place with a nice selection of mini sandwiches (tartinas). A bit too expensive tho Aperetivo for 2 incl 6tartinas and 2drinks = 15€ We got an extra tagliere which was 15€
Sforza Giovanni
Sforza Giovanni: Amazing aperitivo, they mix sweet and salt on a toast, and it is great. Epicurean, I am sorry but you will need a second round of tartinas as it is quite small. Also, it is overpriced
João Cardoso
João Cardoso: Good food but a bit pricy. The cocktails were also good but pricy.Food: 3/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Erica W
Erica W: Really cute bar/restaurant in the artsy brera area of Milano. Great Apperitivo and tarts and people watching
Maria Kyrkou
Maria Kyrkou: The worst experience in Italy so far! Very rude waiters and overpriced! They served water and soft drinks 8 euros after 5pm. Also, my friend got poisoned from the drink. At 7:50pm they told us to leave because our table was reserved at 8:30pm.
Elif Yoztyurk
Elif Yoztyurk: Delicious food omgg i love it. Kind staffs 😍
Anna Tasca
Anna Tasca: Tasty tartine and cocktails perfect for aperitivo 🍹🍸 a little bit expensive
Emre Tugay
Emre Tugay: La Tartina is located on one of the most beautiful streets of Brera. It is a great choice for an aperitivo. We tried a variety of tartine and cocktails. Everything was delicious, our palates were very happy. However the real highlight of the night was all the great people working there: Imma, Rebeca & Simone. We will definitely be back. P.S. Reservation is recommended. Edit: We have been back there tens of times since I wrote this review and it has always been a pleasure. Thank you for creating this family like environment.

Daniel Figur (Los Figur): We had an excellent meal here, the food was very good and the overall experience was delightful. This is authentic Italian food that you will enjoy from start to end. I made sure to save room for dessert so I could try the tiramisu which was delicious. If you’re traveling to Milan and looking for a great place for lunch or dinner, give this one a try, you will not be disappointed.
Jeff Concannon
Jeff Concannon: This is a great place for a meal with friends. We had a table for six people and shared antipasti and wine, with beautiful main dishes. Ziad Hariri
Ziad Hariri: The food, the service, and the ambiance were all impeccable. Fresh Italian ingredients turned into fantastically satisfying and flavorful dishes. The staff was professional and friendly and really accommodated us when we didn’t speak Italian. The prices were slightly high but the quality justified the cost. Highly recommend
Sam Sigut
Sam Sigut: An excellent place to have a meal at. The service by itself is worth the five stars alone, attentive, respectful and smart. I really loved almost everything I had apart from the risotto which wasn’t bland nor very tasteful. But that was a single dish out of many.
Angela Peng
Angela Peng: Great service and delicious food! The meat was tender and juicy, exactly what I wanted. The thin crust pizza was a bit too soggy but still delicious! Some cookies and appetizers were on the house. 10/10 would recommend!
Junggou Kwon
Junggou Kwon: The food was good but not so great. A bottle of water was 6 euro, which was a bit pricy in my opinion. I could see that the staff was working hard but due to the people waiting outside to be seated, the staff was kind of making us feel we have to leave quickly.. The person who wore a blue shirt and seemed like a manager was very attentive and friendly.
jaghanivasan s
jaghanivasan s: This restaurant is one of the best spots to try Italian foods. Though it is in the middle of touristic spot, they had one of the best risotto I had in Milan. Very friendly staff, great view and environment. I tried few of the foods with my partner and the bill was about 130€, which is quite expensive but I felt it was worth it. This is not a random spot to have causal food. You might have to plan for special occasion if you are like me. They did give out a lot of free stuff like shrimp starter, pizza slices and cookies. The risotto is worth to stop by. I tried the oysters here and was so great and could have had 20-30 of those. Super fresh!! Highly recommend the spot
E K
E K: Amazing! From the beginning the service was outstanding. The waiter told us to wait a few moments and we would be seated soon. Once seated, the other servers were very attending. We ordered 2 drinks, carpaccio, and pasta. The truffle pasta was absolutely delicious! I would have 2 plates if I could! I’m also a huge fan of affogato and although that was definitely overpriced at 14 EUR in my opinion, it was still worth it!
Wil
Wil: Everything from the food to the service was excellent; especially the service (better than some Michelin restaurants in my opinion). We were afraid it might be a tourist trap since it’s located in the middle of the galleria, but definitely glad we gave this place a chance! Food was also fantastic! This was definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Milan!
Response: Thanks a million!!!! 🙏☺️
Eugene Brock
Eugene Brock: After a long day of holiday shopping we were in dire need of a classic Milanese Dinner. After reviewing other google reviews the pictures of the food and reviews made this restaurant stick out compared to the other choices in the area. Upon arrival it did not disappoint. Friendly and warm welcome and providing a beautiful window seat to enjoy the wonderful views along with the food. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our main waiter changed 3 times but each was just as helpful as the prior. We ordered Tagliatelle with truffles and the Ossobucco. This was by far the best meal we enjoyed during our 3 week tour of Italy. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Brunello, deserts and ended with Grappa and an expresso. If I could give this place a 6 star I would. Highly recommended. Enjoy!!
Response: Thank you very much!!! We truly appreciate your words. Best regards and Merry Christmas!!
Andrei Gorgan
Andrei Gorgan: Everything was top-notch, we were seated within a minute, they brought sweets and appetizers on the house for us. The main dish was fast, and delicious, I strongly recommend the Risotto alla Milanese! 10/10 serving and would recommend
André Marques
André Marques: Despite the crowds, the service was impeccable! Very friendly staff, nice decoration and surroundings, and excellent food. The fish was very delicious and the ossobuco with the risotto was well. Recommended!

Amanda Miao
Amanda Miao: I love the ambient in Manna, very intimate. Service was good and very friendly. The dishes were very tasty and very bold twist. If the guanciale could be a little bit fatty would be fantastic! The wine we chose went so well with our dinner. My friends and I passed a lovely night in Manna, beautiful memories!
Emily Roelle
Emily Roelle: A modern take on traditional Italian dishes. Great service and a chic minimalist ambiance. A bit on the expensive side.
Kooshan Nazifi
Kooshan Nazifi: We found this place by chance, wanted to visit a local restaurant and have a delicious dinner! We were very nicely met and sat at the table by the window, We ordered the dishes and waited. Inside everything is very cozy and stylishly decorated. The dishes were brought quickly. After the main dishes brought on a tray desserts from which we had to choose what we liked. They were very tasty. later we sat for a while, did not take coffee, and said goodbye. Very nice!
Andrea Giuliani
Andrea Giuliani: Good food, nice wine pairing suggested, kind people, right price. What else do you need?

Salsamenteria di Parma San Babila: what do users think?
Tina Guo
Tina Guo: Walked in on Monday evening for dinner- a quick 2 minute stroll from our apartment. Service was okay but severely understaffed. I had the Gnocchi with Ragu which was good except for a few of the Gnocchi’s being very cold which was odd. My boyfriend started with the Gnocchi with Pesto which he liked, followed by the Chicken Cacciatore which consisted of a very small serving of chicken - a leg and a thigh that was underwhelming with a giant side of mashed potatoes, also underwhelming but edible. They don’t serve coffee at the restaurant, and we had the apple pie (okay) and the tiramisu (pretty good) for dessert. A plus that when we asked for the check, it came quickly and we paid at the register upstairs. The restaurant was very full and had a homey atmosphere but would not visit again.
Mar Aguilar
Mar Aguilar: The best restaurant that we tried in Milan. We came across this place by chance when looking for somewhere to eat, and we had the best food of our trip here. The service is excellent, waiters are very friendly and fast. The food is to die for!!! Very traditional italian food, well cooked with good taste. Plus, they served us red wine in a bowl, which I thought was very cool. Will definitely come back if we are ever in Milan again!!
Juliana 4pmmargaritas
Juliana 4pmmargaritas: Very cosy restaurant, quick service and very delicious food! Tried their lasagna, very large dish, so so good. My husband tried their shank stake with baked potatoes and it was one of his favorites dishes in Milan. Prices are also really great!
Ryan Jay (Phoenixangel)
Ryan Jay (Phoenixangel): I only had one of the best pastas in my entire stay here in Italy, and a perfectly done beef carpaccio. Given the reviews, I thought they would only be good with their hams and cheese, I was gleefully wrong. Given their culinary skill, I took a bet on their desserts and it paid off, finally a jiggly panna cotta! Would highly recommend, even if you are not craving ham meat platters.
Javier Bilbao
Javier Bilbao: Don’t be fooled by it’s cover, great Italian restaurant with plenty of options and good service. Their tartufo pasta was great, and so was everything we tasted! The place is quite small and gets crowded quickly so try to go slightly before or after peak time. Otherwise rotation is big so the queue goes by quickly.
mag huang
mag huang: Highly recommend the tiramisu! It’s really good. Parma e burrata was well done, the cured meat is of high quality. Lasagna was very delicious, strong meat taste. I wouldn’t recommend the porcellata too much, the pork cheek was decent but maybe this dish isn’t as nice as lasagna!
Ty Clement
Ty Clement: Tripletta di tortelli is definitely the go-to item. It comes with three different stuffed raviolis (ricotta cheese, spinach, and pumpkin ravioli). The pumpkin is incredible! The service was attentive, the food was prompt, and the prices were reasonable. The only complaint is that their English menu has to be digitally downloaded and the reception in the restaurant is terrible. None of us could download it.
Brian White
Brian White: Down a side street near the Duomo, this unassuming restaurant hides a delight for anyone who wanders in. You know you’ve found a gem when there are locals lining up outside for lunch on a Monday afternoon. The food is amazing and the service the same. We had different types of ravioli and all were delicious. The photo shows our wine served in bowls…apparently traditional? The price won’t kill your wallet either considering how close this place is to the Duomo. Edit- we came back for a second time just two weeks later because it was so good! I had the pork cheeks with fried polenta and it was Amazing! My friend had the pork with marinated onions and he loved it as well.
Karolina Heneghan
Karolina Heneghan: Amazing food and friendly staff. Highly recommend! The meat and cheese selection is very good and delicious. Main courses too - lovely pasta and lamb shank. 😊

Solferino: what do users think?
Ivano Milan
Ivano Milan: The atmosphere of this place and the food is what makes me choose to assign 5 stars (4.5 realistically ) . I’ll have to come back to try more dishes. I’m not surprised to see some complaints about the staff and service which can really be improved. Fortunately our server was professional, however I did have the feeling some people were less happy to work there. I would choose this place for both business lunches and date nights.
Marina Verbenska
Marina Verbenska: Top restaurant that I have been to in Milano. The ambience and service were excellent, cozy table arrangement in a minimal space. Very impressive wine selection, we ended up spending more for a glass of wine than for an entree :) Loved their polenta and porcine stuffed ravioli. Will be back for dessert next time!
Lisa Do (thisislisax)
Lisa Do (thisislisax): The atmosphere was very beautiful! The food however was quite average and pretty expensive for what it was. We paid 98€ for a bottle of water, 2 glasses of wine, a starter and 2 pastas. We had a nice experience but rather try another restaurant next time
Maka Chel
Maka Chel: Amazing experience in probably the most authentic and old restaurant in Milano. This place has been up and running since 1909. The staff is extremly polite and friendly, their english is perfect! Now in the eve of Christmas the atmosphere was amazing, lots of lights, christmas trees and decorations. The wine pallet is exceptional all types and a price range from 30 to couple of hundreds of euros per botlle. Really good food and overall a traditional restaurant that is worth every cent. A really special experience, if you come to Milano you must visit this place!
Adam Lorenti
Adam Lorenti: Our second visit at this definitive Milanese style Trattoria - the look, the sounds, the flavours it’s all there. The front of house staff are like no other, fun to be around and happy to entertain (they don’t have high chairs, but were happy to play around with our 2yo). The food is traditional but mixed in with some new ideas. The Ossobuco and Tiramisu are fantastic and very flavourful and traditional. King Shrimp came with strawberries less so traditional, but still tasty. Look forward to eating here again soon. Book ahead too btw!
Luciana Wolosker
Luciana Wolosker: Amazing food, strachiatella was breathtaking, ossobuco was the most soft meat I’ve ever eaten, and tiramissu was so sweet and tasty!Make a reservation and GO!
Abrar Alhamri
Abrar Alhamri: We had an absolutely amazing experience at this authentic local restaurant! Enzo made our experience pleasant and memorable! The lobster spaghetti is very delicious. And the creamy burrata is highly recommended. If you’re visiting Milan, this place should on your must-visit list.
Stephanie Wei
Stephanie Wei: Had a lovely dinner at Solferino. I made a same day reservation online. The wine list is impressive. Service was very friendly. The kids gnocchi was a hit. Black spaghetti with squid was really delicious. Osso bucco was great too. Asparagus side dish was over cooked and a bit mushy. Tiramisu was a hit. Would return on my future visits.

Pascoli Piadineria Artigianale: what do users think?
Gina S.
Gina S.: From the hamburger wrap to the coppa piacentina quesadilla, everything was perfecto. Everything is handmade, they cure the meats and make their own cheese. The two beers from the tap were really good too, and the chefs were very friendly and helpful! Also tried the local citrus fruit soft drink. Yum. Would definitely be back here the next time i’m in Milan.
Bertha Andronie
Bertha Andronie: Food very affordable and tasty, would definitely recommend. Staff was also nice and helpful.
Mark de Waal
Mark de Waal: Good service and some helpful English speaking staff. Tasteful and enjoyable lunch for a good price! Lots of choice for the piadeneria, with vegetarian and gluten-free options as well.
James Appleton
James Appleton: I love Pascoli! Superb choice of piadine with a wide range of filling choices (I particularly like the porchetta). Always super friendly and helpful, with good local beers too.

L'Anlot e oltre...: what do users think?
Dario Di Ventura
Dario Di Ventura: Very good agnolotti (kind of ravioli). Get the one with stufato (sort of stew) inside. Outstanding risotto with pancetta (Italian bacon) and pork ribs (low temp cooked) with sweet potatoes. Good baccalà (salted cod). Also tried pork ribs cooked @ low temp: outstanding!
Leon De Andrade
Leon De Andrade: We were searching for some nice Italian restaurant later in the evening (after around 9am) and found this good looking one. We sat outside and it was really sweet and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helped us with understanding the menu on Italian. You can create you own menu by selecting either Ravioli with different fillings or gnocchi and a sauce with it. Then you choose between three different sizes (8€, 11€ and 14€). We had two small portions (8€). One with ravioli in oil and Parmesan and the gnocchi with the sauce of the week. Additionally we had a bottle of water (3€). We also got some bread, but we weren‘t that hungry. The ravioli and gnocchi were delicious and we enjoyed it very much. When we paid we were a little bit surprised. It wasn’t 19€ as expected but 25€. The gnocchi were 11€ instead of 8€ and the sauce of the week were 3€ extra. The menu didn’t say anything about that! In contrast, the gnocchi and special sauce of the day we’re just one option of many and the pice at the bottom said clearly 8€, 11€ and 14€ depending on the size. The portion of the gnocchi was also the same size as the ravioli, so we had two times the small portion. As Germans we are used to transparent prices, so this made us feel uncomfortable and ruining the other than that perfect night. We were planning on giving 25€ anyway because of the friendly staff and delicious food. Because of These extra costs we gave no tip. This is really unfortunate as this could have been easy 5 stars. We don‘t know if it‘s usual in Italy to do these sort of things (we‘ve heard of hidden costs like service fees and paying extra for bread - all things that are inclusive in Germany). But as we were told, they have many international and in particular German customers, they might should think about making prices more transparent!
Anna Maurer
Anna Maurer: Service 15/10 Food 10/10 Decoration 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Price 10//10 I would absolutely recommend, very professional and kind service, they speak all very good englisch even though the menu card was in Italian, they explained the whole menu with lot of patience. Thanks for the wonderful evening!
V L
V L: At some point, guide books will find this place, and there will be long queues, until then, enjoy the great food and service.
Lina Rag
Lina Rag: Everything was great!!!Everyone with a smile to serve youFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bahareh E.D.
Bahareh E.D.: Wow, the owner is a beautiful, kind and very helpful lady and with amazing chef. We had lunch there and booked dinner for next day. We loved the food and service.
Mckenzie F
Mckenzie F: This place is incredibly special. I walked in from the subway station lost, dazed and confused they basically gave me a free AMAZING cappuccino and chocolate cake. I was looking for internet and they kept insisting I didn’t have to buy anything and I should sit and relax. A true gem. Highly highly recommend, cake was also exceptional (as were drinks)! Lovely language skills on the staff’s part too.
