Faris Alh: I heard about this place before I came to Milano and fortunately I had the chance to visit it and I fall in love with it… a huge verity of niche perfumes from the best brands around the world.. I found a lot of brands that were very hard to find in one place and the staff were very friendly and helpful and they explain you the story of each perfume in a very interesting way.. they have a website so you can order online all the perfumes they sell.. this shop is my best spot of niche perfumes so far and I hope that I will visit it again !!

Amy Trail: The good: This is a very beautiful store with very unique and cultivated selections of perfumes. I specifically went out of my way to come to this store from the great reviews and I was not disappointed with the products The bad: However, was saddened and embarrassed by not knowing that you aren’t supposed to touch the perfumes and that the sales person is the one who is supposed to find your ideal perfume. I’ve never been to a store like this and ended up feeling a little like Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman” where she goes to but a beautiful dress and is looked down upon. While I was waiting for the sales person to finish with their customer with which they were working, the sales person also made some comments about “Americanos” while talking with another customer. I’m not sure what they said, but I assume that it wasn’t flattering. However, the sales person was knowledgeable and I ended up with a great perfume. After I got to know the sales person better and proved that I wasn’t just a dumb, crass “Americano” they warmed to me. They explained that this wasn’t like “shoe shopping” and that this was supposed to be an “experience”. I would not have gone to this store and spent over $200 had I known that I would be met with this condescension. But the perfumes are truly beautiful and unique. So be forewarned, this is probably a store better suited to people who speak fluent Italian so you can understand the process better. It is also my fault for not speaking better Italian and knowing how the process was supposed to work, so I take accountability for that part.

William Wei: Incredible service by such knowledgeable and passionate SAs. Fueguia is not your average perfumery. From what the sales people told me, it began as an art installation using scent as the art medium to communicate. The founder is so obsessive about every detail and the selection in the Milan store is incredible. Because each fragrance is limited to 400 bottles per batch year, the company is very niche. I ended up getting Chamber which smells like water. Its distilled from the bottom of the founder’s lake in Chamber. It’s the most intriguing thing but this definitely isn’t for everyone. It took me 3 separate visits before finding something that really resonated with me! Especially because the same fragrance can smell so different depending on the batch year, you need patience to discover the range and something suitable for yourself.

Florentina “flor” Ghinea: I’ve discovered this brand during my stay at the Uptown Palace Hotel and straight away I checked their shop, went there and bought their diffusers which are amazing, so gorgeous, I just love them. Excellent!!!

Aisha Al Harmoodi: I’m generally a big fan of Le Labo so I pass by the shops internationally and always ask about the city exclusive I was shocked that Millan don’t have a city exclusive yet. The sales lady was very helpful and very informative about the after care and how the products are consumed in the most ideal way possible which made our experience extraordinary.

Alan Della Noce: I went into the shop with a friend out of curiosity, since some acquaintances had spoken highly of the brand to us. All perfumes are inspired by a musical genre. We were greeted in a very friendly way. The very kind Ludmilla gave us an authentic experience: starting from our musical tastes, she first made us try the most suitable perfumes for us. He then presented us with all the fragrances of the brand, illustrating the characteristics of each in a very clear and engaging way. The presentation takes place according to a really fun process: on the counter there is a sort of juke box, each button corresponds to the name of a perfume. Pressing the button starts the music combined with the fragrance and a vinyl on which the bottles are positioned rotates until the perfume is delivered. At this point Ludmilla sprinkles it and tells the inspirations and details of the fragrance. The process is really fun and the scents are very special: very good. You can also customize the bottle on the spot at no additional cost, and the shop also sells records and t-shirts inspired by music icons. I was pleasantly impressed! I recommend everyone to try this wonderful experience and to rely on the suggestions of the staff to find the perfume that best suits their tastes.
