Alpaca: Very good wool shop with masses of choice in wools and equipment for knitting, possibly the best in Milan.
Anna Stern: Large selection of interesting yarns, friendly staff with some English. I wish I had a reason to buy more than I did. Very busy. While Lanar has a large selection of solid color yarns, this shop is much better for variegated or other speciality yarns. If I lived here, I would check them periodically (I’m not that big a crocheter.) Even though some distance from the center, very easy to get to on the Metro.

Anna Stern: If you’re looking for mostly solid color yarn of any type, in any color, in any weight, including ultra-fine for weaving, this is the place to visit. The range is enormous and the large store is spacious and well organized. While I didn’t really interact with the non-English speaking staff, this is solely a yarn shop, not a place to go for patterns or advice. Highly recommend,

It also carries out tailor-made garments. You can make crochet bags by purchasing the materials or there are already made. It is worth a visit
