Manga Climbing: what do users think?

Sam Noah: Manga Climb was huge!! Entry was about €15 and my rental of shoes was about €5. If you know your euro sizes..let them know. A tight fit is good for climbing/boulder. Apparently they have areas for finger strengthening with many fingerboards and a side gym as well. There are lockers provided but you bring your own or request one from the counter. Beside the entry counter..they also have a mini cafe for snacks and small bites and coffee / drinks before you start your workout or after. A great huge place ! Till next time! Chao!

John Burr: Lovely place. Kind staffs. Reasonable price. Various courses.Best climbing in Milan!

Sergey Dobrodey: Very good equipped climbing gym. There is a lot of space for different activities: zone for warm up, zone for bouldering, zone for lead climbing, moonboard, zone for novice climbers, campus etc..

Olivier Teerling: 18,- for single entrance…….. If you only visit once (as a tourist for example), you pay both registration costs of 10,- and single entry of 8,- (fair price). I’ve never seen this before and I think it’s unfriendly to those who visit only once. Other than that, good hall with a lot of facilities and both lead, boulder and circuit. Also most of the staff is friendly. Just get rid of that ridiculous registration for single visitors….

Andrew Salmon: Very cool gym. Great bouldering section, adequate rope routes and panels and spray wall for training. Workout station with treadmill and weights. large clean changing rooms with showers, somewhat rare in climbing gyms. Only complaints would be that it gets very noisy possibly due to the shape of the building, and front desk staff aren't the friendliest. Entrance process can be slightly chaotic unless you have a card and subscription. Huge bonus is that despite other gyms in Milan increasing their prices recently to extortionate prices, manga prices have remained reasonable

Aris: It's a well equipped gym, with enjoyable problems and good variety. They have a lot of wall-surface area for both bouldering and lead. On the downside, the first entry is too expensive at €18 with the membership fee and excluding shoe rental and a lot of the holds need to be cleaned as they're slippery.

Miranda: They charge 18€ for a single day entry, which is the most expensive bouldering gym entry I have come across so far. We brought our own shoes, so it would be even more expensive if you have to rent shoes. The subsequent entries are cheaper, but unfortunately this is useless if you are traveling and can only go there once. I would highly suggest this gym to update their pricing models to be more inclusive for different needs.

Stanley Goh Qi Ming: Great place with great routes, was super crowded tho If you wanna use the lockers bring your own lock, or just trust the society Gradings from difficult to easy is black-red-yellow-green-blue-white (couldn't find this info in the gym)

Heiko Gehrig: Nice, relatively new climbing gym. Large bouldering area with a variety of problems for different levels. There’s also a lead climbing/top rope area. Patrons and staff are friendly, with some staff speaking English, but not all. Also has a nice social/bar area with refreshments. Easy to get to via the red M1 metro line with two stations very close by.

Rik Bouwmeester: Spacious. Good number of routes, well set, nice holds. Very expensive for a single visit, not the most welcoming staff.

Urban Wall - Milano Climbing Factory: what do users think?

Benedetta Gioli: Loved it 😊 spacious and well equipped

Marcus Cross: Fantastic place. Great facilities, especially the ProGrade autobelays for lead climbing, of which they have several. Something for every kind of climber. Friendly staff some of whom speak good English. Was able to register as a visitor to the city and hire shoes for €15. Had my own harness and belay device with me. Will definitely be back when I'm next in Milan!

Veronica Ruiz Rivera: Positive: QualityThe space inside is huge, and has plenty of different wall types. The staff is really encouraging and the atmosphere is really safe. I rented shoes and was offered tips by the people all around. Great time! Will definitely be back.

Davide Signa: Great place with amazing structure but sincerely not very friendly staff. Would be nice to be treated well and welcomed by a more smiling receptionist!!

raphael fanti: They make you pay 10€ of association regardless of whether or not you continue to climb. Front desk made me pay 23€ for a session while laughing at me. Quite disrespectful. A tourist trap

Osariemen Osazemwinde (Your Walking Map): This is one fun activity to do in Milan. If you’re an active person and you’ve been looking for activities, this is a well recommended one with friends or even solo .

Gianni Massi: Great all-round gym. Great training facilities, bouldering and lead section. Also has system wall and moon wall. Lead climbers looking for an overhanging route to challenge them will feel in the right place as soon as they see the central overhanging structure. One word to describe it: huge.

Alessandro Cantoni: Best facility to climb indoor on west side of Milan area - steepest overhang in Italy, pub and shop at the entrance, kindness and top quality of routesetting

Cesare Candeo: Biggest indoor climbing and bouldering place in town (and probably in the country), they offer all sorts of courses for all ages. The bar is also great and they always have a good pale ale on tap for the beer lovers out there. Strongly recommend!

R V: Great for top rope but not bouldering

clare .mabin: Big climbing gym. Lots of bouldering and routes. Great training are, hang boards, moon board, free weights, etc. Warm and clean showers and cute little cafe! Staff are very helpful and between them spoke either English or Spanish (phew!).

Tim Geiges: Not really tourist friendly. No rental gear for climbing and the entry is too high if you just want to go for one time. Bit disappointing. The climbing and boulder area would have been very nice though...

James Callanan: Huge gym with fun competition style bouldering routes. Also, staff were really friendly. Claudia went completely out of her way to help me with directions home. Thank you!

Marco Bugatti: One of the best climbing gyms in Milan. Also really easy to reach from Politecnico.(spritz at 6 euri nun se po' senti però °o°)

oneohsix eries: Lots of bouldering routes, canvas boards, panels, and a new weights gym with power rack. Unfortunately another(!) price increase in the last few weeks... 22€ for a climb and a beer, I'm sorry it's just too much :(

Leonardo Cecchin: Very dirty holds, also on newly set routes, and no brushes available either.Staff not really friendly.Very hot inside, no ventilation whatsoever, and if that was not enough it isn't allowed to climb shirtless.

Harsha Vardhana: The only gym in Milan with autobelay. So it's perfect to climb if someone is new to the city and doesn't have a climbing partner. The bouldering walls are also good.

ZiYing Wang: I am really starting to get into rock climbing and I need to say that Rockspot is impeccable! It is my 6th time there and it just has been so much fun! I have gone there with friends and also alone, and when I am alone, I usually ask for help to other people nearby and they always are so helpful and so friendly, even though my Italian is somewhat primitive. The community is really nice and the environment super good. People cheer you up when you succeed after failing, even if they don't know you. New to climbing? Everyone is there to help you, don't be afraid to ask for help ;) You can really see your progress in the beginning and it really motivates you! Although it is about 50 minutes from my home, for me, it has become a place I need to go to get some stress off my body, and because they always keep it interesting and switch the layouts every now and then, I found it important to take my time and write this review.

Hugo Loughran: Huge bouldering area loads of auto belays lead routes also available and super friendly staff

Fernando Scala: Cool huge place and friendly English speaking staff. Ideal if you are just visiting this beautiful city and have a sudden itch for bouldering. Easy access from the city (tram 27 will take you back and forth in under 30 minutes)

Alessandro Luppino: Climbing gym in Milan Lambrate inside the Tonic gym, close to UniMi and the Milan Polytechnic. Very pleasant, helpful and competent staff. I recommend taking a tour if you want to try this sport!

20Hours Club Brioschi: what do users think?

Akmal Akhmadjonov: The changing room conditions could be a lot better, however equipment-wise, the gym is quite alright. Reasonable quality for the cheap prices that they have

David: Good value for money. Equipped with a sauna

Nikita Y: Friendly staff, good quality for the money since the price is negotiable

Sami Khoury: Run down, but has two bouldering walls

Serena Salvi: never seen such a dirty and obsolete place

Michela Carpeggiani: Great experience;)

Maria Adelaide Fosso: The gym itself is well equipped for those who don't have too many pretensions, the maintenance of the equipment should be more taken care of, but the real problem is the management. In the middle of the covid period, they made sure not to compensate me for 7 lost months, saying that I could only recover them by making a new annual subscription, so compared to 14 paid months I barely used half of it. They told me to contact the manager who ignored my emails in which I was trying to find a compromise, even offering to sacrifice an interruption to make up for the months, but I never received an answer or assistance, and I only received rudeness from of female employees. Nonetheless, I have been contacted over and over to renew my subscription, as if that weren't enough. I advise you to pay more to take advantage of a much better service offered in hundreds of other Milanese gyms.

nicole zanella: I put a star because unfortunately you can't put less! This gym was recommended to me because even if in a basement, therefore not beautiful, and with bad equipment, it compensated with an affordable price, in fact they pretend to be among the cheapest gyms in Milan. I go and ask myself about the prices and the girl at the desk tries in any way to give you crazy prices. BUT the best part comes when it lists me the PRICES: 1 month -> 150 € + 40 registration! FOLLY!!! THE VIRGIN IN DUOMO COST LESS, also considering the quality gap between the virgin and theirs. 150 EURO 1 MONTH FOR A GYM IN A BASEMENT, OUTSIDE THE HEAD. 3 months -> 200 € + 40 registration! madness, higher than almost all the other gyms in the area and which are 100 times more beautiful. So, these low prices that should compensate for the non-beauty of the gym were not offered to me, unless of course you are not up to their "blackmail" which practically obliges you to take the annual membership. Ah, these prices only for room only, courses excluded The only decent price is for the annual subscription. I told her that I did not want to commit so much for Covid and she told me that in case of closures they would give me back the months I had not done, when instead having luckily read the reviews I knew that it really was not the case. (I add that the girl told me that the annual subscription was € 390 and that I did not pay the € 40 registration fee (the registration was given as a gift) when, on the other hand, from the comments I see that the annual subscription would be € 350 and therefore this gift that boasted does not exist).

Amedeo Tortora: With the covid they too have been sneaky by stealing a few months left and right. After agreeing at the last reopening to extend my season ticket until August 31, 2021, this morning the young lady told me that 08/24/2021 would be my last day. Bad quality of the tools (I was injured several times), hygiene at the levels of the worst bars in Caracas and cleaning staff picked up the day before. A few ASL checks wouldn't hurt......

AComeAugusto: I state that what I'm about to write, I should have written 4 weeks ago, but I wanted to wait to calm down the "hot spirits". I have been going to this gym for the past 2 years and 9 months. I signed up for 2 subscriptions of 1 year each with the first contract I got 12+3 months free, when I signed up for the 2nd subscription they only gave me 12+2. But that's okay... 350 euros what do you expect. Indeed .. even too much they gave me. My negative review is because after the covid, the gym reopened on June 1st if I am not mistaken, from June 1st (if I hadn't called on July 24th) I would not have known that in order to take advantage of the 3 unused subscription months due covid, I had to sign up for a new 1 year subscription, and the 3 months would then be added again 12+3 =15. I point out that when I contacted the gym I still had about 10 personal trainer sessions to perform, obviously I didn't finish them, this for me is a complete lack of professionalism and seriousness, because I should have continued to "exploit" the month remainder of the subscription, and then before redoing another 1 year subscription, do my 3 months, without being forced to give any more money. Everything I wrote is fortunately proven by whatsapp chats as "proof". I'm sorry to have to say this, but this policy of forcing you to pay 1 year for 3 months really sucks. I left it alone, because I just didn't want to poison my blood. But I will never set foot in this place again. Not to mention the fact that the other gyms give you a bag when you sign up for a membership, and they make you pay for it, and it's not even a bag, but a bag that you put a towel inside and after 3 uses it breaks.. bah... anyway, hope this review is helpful to someone! I know I'm going to raise a fuss, but at this point I think it's fair to tell it like it is. They annoy you, they insist, via Whatsapp, via telephone, to "remind you" that I have to pay the installment of the personal trainer, and then after 3 months of lockdown, you don't call me to tell me that if I want to take advantage of the 3 months, I have to subscribe to another contract? You are sorry!!

Big Walls: what do users think?

Jonathan Buchholz: Went twice with a friend and just got an annual membership because this place is so great. Huge, every kind of training equipment you could hope for, and not crazy busy. What else could you hope for?

Michele Pirovano: Been here only one time and i really loved it. Very big place, loads of boulders and routs on high walls plus a well equipped training area. The person at the reception/bar was very welcoming and made me feel at home from the start.(sorry, can't remember your name!) Went there in the morning and had most of the gim for myself. I'll definitely go back.

Simone Miccinesi: Great fun with many boulders and ways in many difficulty levels, the staff is helpful and there's also a lot of equipment besides the climbing walls like gym machines, hangboards etc.

andy cleaver: Great pitches, fantastic routes, mega amounts of size and difficulties and the bosses are really nice people. Fantastic 2000m2 of boulder sections opening up soon.
Response: thanks for the wonderful review

Marco Ramerio: Living in London. I've tried quite a few walls in town but non is like Big Walls! Amazing routs and... big walls! Love it!

Federico Pozzi: Top

Mauro: Longest routes indoor you can find!

Tiziana Magnani: Go climbing, shower can wait

Dilshan Fernando: Small place mostly crowded but still price wasnt cheap at all

Ali Mousavi: You will find good employees here, the gym is not that big, but they managed their space well so they offer you quite small, complete and likely indoor climbing. The climbing walls are not high (maybe 10m Max), but climbing grades are really well.

Cezar Sas: Om place for climbing and bouldering. The facility is a bit small.

Boran Gögetap: nice and colorful gym, positive atmosphere and very friendly and helpful owner / staff

PietroCamillo: Loved it, really nice instructors and the climbing experience is awsome
Response: Thanks man!

Terrecotte Gerbelli: Top!

Valeria Arcagni Arcagni: Medium-sized gym, well equipped for bouldering, circuits and rope, something for all levels. Nice and clean changing room, with lockers (bring your lock!), Showers and bathroom. Small bar for a late evening beer. Convenient parking.
Response: Thanks Valeria.

Mirco Monzani: Gym with a large lead and boulder area where the routes often change, always leaving room for new routes. Small bar available and the changing rooms are large and clean. Easy to meet and train together

ELISABETTA BETELLI: Unprofessional gym as it does not refund or issue vouchers for courses paid for last year and not used. When they reopened in June they made it possible to take an outdoor recovery course at times and days by not agreeing with the users. Now I ask to be able to recover the course and I am denied. Same with the refund. Definitely unprofessional
Response: Madam, thank you for the mono star. As I have already explained to you, we have given you the possibility to recover the lessons with various days and times of availability that she has not accepted. All the others participated and recovered the lessons lost due to the lockdown imposed on us.

Tom Jerry: Gym all in all nice, not worth the cost because in my opinion excessive. They do not reimburse, with the extension of the lessons or vouchers those lost due to the covid as established by law, moreover they always ask for money under the pretext of the membership fee already paid three months ago ... Mr. owner, I remind you that after months of inactivity, ask again money to people who paid and did not use the services was not a pleasant move, greetings todaro Stefano
Response: As I already explained to you yesterday in person, the membership fee is mandatory by law as we are an association. Regarding your daughter's lessons, we're making up for lessons in the ways the DPCMs allow and unfortunately we can't do more than that. Thanks for this review. Soon.

Thomas Francesconi: The ASA is always a guarantee! It's been there for 20 years, the guys who run it are very well prepared and certainly among the best with whom to learn to climb (the courses are very well done and are very cheap compared to all the other gyms). We're talking about a very small gym, which also costs little (€5), but from which you can learn a lot! There are overhanging lead pitches (one of the hardest around) ranging from 6a+ to 7b+/C, at least a dozen pitches in Top Rope, a small and nasty sloping panel for overhanging circuits, a larger Japan Wall for all types of boulders + a few boulders here and there and dihedral circuits. In short, everything you need to train!
