Yiğit Karabaş: They have one of the best rates in Milan. I had to convert euro's to CHF (swiss franc's) and I paid 52.6 euro's for 50 CHF Note that they require your passport or your EU-ID for the transaction (which I haven't experienced in any other country but apparently it's a thing in Milan or perhaps Italy) but thankfully I had my passport scan on my phone and by sending my passport picture to their email address I was able to convert my money.

James Yeo: See photos. Looks like we are the latest victims. CHF 100 to euro 60. The PROBLEM was the staff just made us sign without letting us know what we were getting. REFUND clause printed on receipt.. doesn't work. Daylight robbery.

P G: I changed $ 200 and I got € 120. Essentially a 20% commission, plus fees and a predatory exchange rate. In all, they charged around € 60. I had to change cash because my ATM card was not working. I guess they take advantage of people who have no other options. I felt the whole service was tantamount to legalized extortion. Sadly, there are no other options and thats why these companies can charge such outrageous amounts. They really should outlaw these predatory businesses or at least provide other reasonable forex bureaus. These practices hurt Italy and its tourism.

Paul Sanders: DON'T USE THESE COWBOYS!!! My wife and I went to exchange £60 for Euros and unfortunately had quite limited time because we were catching a train, so because of that we got properly cheated! They require ID and then make you sign three times on an digital tablet and each time it isn't clear what you are signing. There is no sign saying commission is charged and the only table of charges is pinned on the wall inside the booth itself so you can'r really see it. In the end for £60 we were given 39 Euros with over 20 Euros worth of commissions and extra charges - nothing is transparent with this company! When we went back to talk to them about the situation in the evening they laughed into our faces and said rudely they were closing and is there anything else they can do? Nasty thieves! Either take much more currency than you need for the holiday and exchange any back when you get home, or even better just use a cash machine at an official bank branch. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
Summer S: Don’t, just don’t. Better to withdraw money from an atm and deal with the charge from your bank. Here they charge a ridiculously high “tax” that they don’t tell you about until the transaction is done. If you HAVE to exchange money then do it elsewhere. Italy always finds ways to rip off foreigners. Be extremely cautious.

Hudh batista: Terrible experience with Poste Italiane and Money Gram. First they said that we had deposited a larger amount than was possible to withdraw. Second day we went back there and they said our number was wrong so we found the right transfer number. After that they said that the first name was spelled wrong, but the screen showed a name written exactly as in the passport and another name was next to the first name with the last name. The manager and attendants were super rude. The manager said she would call to see what she was doing but Money Gram asked questions like what was the name, what would the money be used for. After answering the questions they hung up and didn't solve anything. They dismissed us in a rude, rude manner and spoke loudly when we said it was their fault.

Paul S: Today we had incredibly friendly and efficient service from Mahmoud. He processed our tax refunds very swiftly and was kind, smiley, and informative during the whole time. I felt like he understood the inherent stress of traveling and was able to be proactive so as to minimize inefficiencies and create a stress free environment m. Lev Koledov: Mahmoud claimed because I was born in Russia they get to keep all my tax refund (I'm an American). The moment I told him to give all the stamped paperwork back he started laughing and pretending not to hear me. Seeing I wasn't gonna budge he made up a rule on the spot and gave me 20% of my allotted refund. Yep 20%. I'm not sure how he can sleep at night but just use globalblue app instead of these clowns. He also made me promise to give 5 star review prior to giving me the money.

Julieta Ho: Don’t do ur tax refund here. Go either inside the city or elsewhere. They are horrible. I was waiting for 10min in front of the cashier because she was talking to her colleague who was saying goodbye. Then my TAx refund of 365euro, she said she can only give me in usd or pound, which the exchange rate was 1euro to usd 0,9!! In the end I got only 230usd out from the 365euro! It a total ripped off and they steal money in plain site, how is that possible that no law or government control this and no protection to the travelers that coming to shop in Italy? I am shocked and it s just a really horrible and angry feeling. I will definitely think twice when shop in Italy from now on, coz the tax free doesn’t really work for 12% as they claim. Be aware
Sonia Thomas: THE WORST for cash tax refund. You will be charged a fee AND an extremely low currency rate. They are .24/cents lower in USD conversion from EURO. My tax refunds of 385 Euros was 270 USD. What a Waste! Do your best to avoid a tax refund through Planet tax refund in Italy- they use forexchange as a provider and no refund to CC- so you lose way too much money. Someone needs to regulate forexchange for ripping people off. Where is the government and World bank when it comes to money??!
Swanky Christy: DO NOT change money there. Lady at the exchange was extremely rude and their currency exchange from $100 is 61 euro. And when I told her this is ridiculous she ask me how much I want. What currency exchange is that? When you been asked how much you want to get. I said at least 80 ( I needed cash for bus) But she laughed at me. I said I am native european (she thought I am American) and I know how much usd to eur now its almost 1:1. luckily I wasn't stupid to exchange at this rate. So don't get into this trap, also I discovered that you can pay for bus with card. Its very simple at it goes to city centre!

zainab hashim: I happened to forget my passport atbthe exchange in linate airport in arrival , a very helpful representative mr mahmoud who already had taken care of all my questions related to tour, sim, and transport (apart from my currency exchange) had personally dropped offf my passport at my hotel, this was a service i had not seen in this day and age and as a solo traveller as panic as i was mr mahmoud contacted me immediately about my passport being left at his counter and he assured this will be delivered to me in a few hours.
